You should include in the description an identification of what kind of aluminum alloy this is; the customers should know whether it its 6061-T6, or a type of aluminum alloy that is easier to weld. 6061-T6 is difficult to weld. Other alloys, such as 5052 or 3003, are easier to weld. 6061-T6 should not be sold to beginners as it will make them fail; for 6061-T6 magnesium oxide soot is severe, the weld puddle is hard to form, and welds commonly crack.

I'm teaching myself how to tig weld so my welds aren't that great yet but this metal is great, clean, easy to weld. All I did was wipe it down quick, didn't need to brush it and it was much cheaper than some of the other companies. I will definitely be buying more of these.

The strangest things about MIG welding aluminum with 100% argon that there's no molten pool. Instead, the arc melts the base metal, while the aluminum in the wire merely disappears and "appears" as silver spray paint on your part(s). It's quite tricky, and you have to move very fast.

Now this is something I carry with me on the job just so I can prep before I actually weld onto the customers parts and these are amazing and do what they say they will!

I ordered 2 packs of the practice Coupons. The first package was well packaged and every coupon had a blue protective cover. The second one however was a bit different, each coupon was filthy and no protective cover. For the price I'm not complaining. I would prefer the clean coupon over the dirty,but acetone is cheap.
