Easy to use with very precise applicator.Needed to bond a new bezel insert into the bezel of my Seiko 7548 (if you are still reading you might be interested to know an SKX bezel insert fits 😉) as the original dates back to 1981 so had seen better days.Old bezel off, old insert pressed out, bezel back onto the watch, precise drop of this adhesive into the groove and new insert pressed in.No oozing out, no mess and it is rock solid.Not cheap but I’d rather pay more and get the job done right first time.

Very useful for glueing small items. Sometimes difficult to fit the cap back on after use. Hasn't dried up or blocked with glue yet. Good value for money

Perfect for jewellery making. The extra fine point is useful, but you do lose some glue trying to get the pin back in the top, especially if your eyesight isn't great.

This glue is extremely simple and straightforward to use with a minimum of fuss or effort. It does not leave behind any mess to tidy up and can be used almost anywhere without the need for a specific work area or any particular preparation of tools. Although it was designed by watch-making professionals, it can be used by absolute beginners (such as myself) with no prior knowledge necessary, for a variety of applications such as jewellery-making and silversmithing. It gives a very strong bond that dries completely clear, but unlike superglue it does not adhere to skin so it doesn't matter if you get some on your hands. It sets completely in 24 hours and is touch-dry in about 10 minutes, but does not stick immediately which allows time for the user to reposition what they are gluing if necessary. It is easy to remove even after it has completely set with a small amount or rubbing alcohol, and it comes with a needle inside the lid which keeps the applicator free from glue and prevents it from sticking shut. All in all, GS Hypo Cement is amazing value for money and has become indispensable for all my jewellery making and craft purposes.

I initially bought this to fix the glass back in a pocket watch from the 1800s and the precision type needle at the end really helps you to control the amount of glue around the glass before you add it to the watch. I have used it on a couple of watches now and for that alone, it was well worth the price.What I also liked about it is that, if you are like me and always manage to get glue on your fingers, if you accidentally smear it on other parts of the watch, once dry it easily rubs off with your finger without marking the watch. The glue also dries quickly so you are not sitting there holding it for 10 years wondering if it is dry yet, It is also transparent so is not leaving any signs of the glue.Another great use I found for this glue was on my son's sunglasses when one of the eyepieces fell out, the glue again was great at glueing around the edge of the glass and then putting it back into the frame.
