Love this. Purchased this at the advice of my dermatologist who is treating me for melasma and hyperpigmentation. Insurance denied my last refill of azelic acid so I have been using this along with my scrip of tretinoin cream at night. Significant difference after one month use. My discoloration have lightened up. We concluded that I no longer need the azelic acid. Can use this product once or twice a day. I dab a pimp on my wrist then do the dot method on my face for even coverage.

This product is worth trying! Laser treatment did not completely remove severe sun damage on my face. In an attempt to try to correct this issue, I ran across recommendation of this product in a recent article on the internet. Price is so reasonable it scared me at first. Nothing like the hundreds of dollars charged by other cosmetic companies. After a couple weeks' use there's a very noticeable difference and hopefully with continued use more of a change will occur. Will buy other facial products from this line to try also. One last note - patience is required when using this dark spot remover. Sun damage occurred over decades so repair will take time. Definitely worth a try!!

Im African American and just started to use this product about 4 days. I use it twice a day. First the product is well formulated. It contains hydrating ingredients (sodium hyaluronate, glycerin, water,etc) that permeate the skin barrier nicely. It plays well with other serums that I use. I use this after I use my SKII first treatment essence. I have already noticed that the hyperpigmented spots are drying and peeling. So they will peel away and reveal new skin. I will continue to update my feedback every two weeks. Remember to use sunscreen with this product. I have sensitive skin and have not noticed any skin sensitivity or dryness. I do use a moisturizer and sunscreen after I apply this. 12/13/2024: I had a follow up appointment with my esthetician who noticed an immediate difference in the hyperpigmented spots and overall health of my skin. The spots have lightened in two weeks. Yes they are still there as this is not a miracle product. It sloughly exfoliates the dark spots and every time you wash your face, you will see dead skin cells falling off and revealing fresh dewy skin. Another thing, is that it is not disturbing my very sensitive skin. I dont use any strong actives ( retin a, tretinoin, glycolic acid), so this does not impact me. If you are on strong actives, you may notice a slight sensitivity. I will come back in two weeks. 01/07/2025: In the last 3 weeks, lots of dead skin have been sloughing off and the darks spots have lightened even more. My skin is sensitive and I do feel that it has slightly disturned my skin barrier especially since its winter. I will reduce my use to once a day at night. I was using it twice a day. I get monthly hydrafacials and my esthetician noticed that my skin was tighter. I will stop the product one week before my next hydrafacials. If you receive any skin care procedure, I recommend that you do the same. Other than that, so far so good. Most of the dark spots have lightened and even the 1 raised scar has flattened. This product is very good.

Literally, WOW. PERIOD. If you need a serum to lighten dark spots/age spots/scars/discoloration, GET THIS!!!! I use a few drops of this at night a handful of times a week as I suffer from a bad scar and some dark spots/ discoloration on my face. I was involved in a scooter accident about 2 months ago leaving with a scar on my face and since using this the discoloration has easily been reduced by at least 85% and keeps getting better each week. I used to look in the mirror and all I could see was discoloration/Melasma from that pesky scar and now when I peer into the glass, all I see are the incredible results of this serum. My complexion is finally ONE even and BRIGHT tone and my skin looks and feels just as radiant as it did when I was younger. As for the smell, the liquorish root is actually a pleasant smell, and not overpowering at all. Especially after using a moisturizer on top! My skin did get a little sensitive around my nose where I didn't need it after too much, so just "err on the side of caution" as over use can lead to flaky and irritated skin. I think it's best to apply to the problem areas as it is effective there the most. The smell is highly favorable, and the product last a long time as a little goes a long way!! I would HIGHLY recommend this to ANYONE who is worried about their complexion or any dark spots! Naturium really knows how to hit the nail on the head!!!!

I hav purchased this item so many times and feel so disgusted thinking about what it may have exposed my skin to. I just noticed multiple pumps have green coloration like mildew/ mold/ fungus in the new bottle design! This review is for awareness but I hope the manufacturers can address this as it is not okay!

First: this serum does seem to reduce redness and scarring. I'm terrible about picking at my skin (even the tiniest dot), so this helps undo some of the discoloration and potential scarring. I'd say it works! Second: I did a bunch of research about ingredients and this serum is a very good value for the money. It feels weird to buy a random brand on Amazon (vs. something at Sephora) but I'm tired of paying for marketing and hype. Also, while it's not super-important to me, the bottle and pump feel high-end. And third: I have insanely sensitive skin -- I can barely use anything. No, seriously, I had a 5-day medical patch test and figured out that something like 90% of skincare products are a no-go for me (even CereVe). This serum does not contain any ingredients that bother me and it's proven out on my skin: no irritation. Most people are not as sensitive, but if you are, it's so great to find products that work. Note: I stay out of the sun. This is my unsolicited review, U.S. customer.

The product is great for my melasma (pigmentation). This was the second time I have ordered. But I found out today I could have ordered it with the half price of Amazon price from the narium company directly by online. I feel amazon over charging too much. :( next time I won't order it through Amazon.
