We "decorated" the dog for the Fourth of July. The "dye" works like markers, giving bright colors even when a two and a four year old do the coloring. Didn't wear off on the hands. Fur was still nice and soft. I brushed her later, and much of it stayed. We haven't tried to wash it. I would definitely buy it again. The first picture is of the decorating party; the second, the results, the third was day 2 after brushing (and then rolling in something dead). It sticks around pretty well (so does the something dead). .Update: Mostly washed out with first bath. Never got on furniture or clothing.

Super fun for very patient pets and child artists. It was easy to apply on slightly damp fur. The colors are vibrant!

I was hoping the white would show up on my black dog, it did not, but it was fun coloring my friends English cream golden!

So I was expecting more of a chalk like texture but these were more like grease crayons. You need to follow the grain of the fur to apply. My dog is grey and the color all showed up well. A little tough to apply. I won't be doing any intricate designs. Tried on my dogs face. Was a little tough to get off...took us a couple of days.

I bought this to make my black lab a skeleton for Halloween. Didn't think it would work great on black fur, and it didn't (very dull and dingy) but it's very vibrant on my other dog's white patches! It comes off very easily, so it doesn't last very long, but that's also a bonus cause... well, it's easy to get off. Good selection of colors and they will last a long time, too :)

Worked perfectly for transforming our horse into a “Dalmatian” for a Halloween ride. Pen type application was easy and didn’t smear or run. The dots remained on very faint even after washing with soap. No odor, easy to use.
