I love this film, I came across it when I was about 20 years old. I love Drew Barrymore in it.

This is a fantastic film! I very much enjoyed it, and I must say, it is one of the best films I have watched in a long time. It is brilliant, and full of meaning. I absolutely LOVE Drew Barrymore, I have literally every single movie by her. She is my idol and role model. This is a MUST SEE film. Definitely 5 stars.

A great film to watch

This is a classic 'Drew Barrymore' movie. The story line is about a lonely teenage girl becoming friends with 'Ivy' another teenage girl and how 'Ivy' becomes part of her family. However, there is more to 'Ivy' than meets the eye!

drew plays a very good part as she falls for her friends dad and does some evil things to get him good film

Hard to find a copy of this movie that I used to have on VHS, didn't even realize there was an unrated version. The DVD plays great in USA zone players, no issues at all, disc was clean (was a used item as I already knew when I bought it, had some stickers on the case). Menu just shows the play movie, special features, etc and when you click play movie then you can choose which version as well as which format.

This movie could never hold a candle to any teen thriller of today. It holds a magic that could never again be recaptured. Every time I watch it I am more and more mesmorized. I'm not gay but I do have to say that Drew Barrymore was hot in this movie! The music is amazing and very sexy. It's too bad they never put out a soundtrack. The composer is David Michael Frank if it helps any. I checked out some of his other music scores and there are some that sound similar to Poison Ivy.
