BOB Ross Books New Joy of

Book is very enjoyable. Has excellent reproductions of Bob Ross art as well as step by step drawing instructions. I will say that if you are buying this book to learn how to draw Bob Ross style, I would recommend the PBS DVDs, as they are more supportive and you can rewind bits and pieces that you need to see again. I did some research on the author of the book and it was a happy surprise that there are 30 such books that follow 11 years of the "Joy of Painting" show. This book is a great gift for a Ross lover and for a collector.

A good book like others books of this collection. Buy and enjoy it painting a picture 😍

I purchased a used copy, which is why I gave it a low rating on the giftable question. However I really do enjoy all of the paintings, the techniques, and the instructions. That said, there are some places where steps are missing or incorrect instructions are given. But it's a great learning tool.

I LIKE THIS BOOK BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN TEACHING ME DIFFERENT WAYS TO PAINT. I'M A BEGINNER & IT SHOWS HOW TO PAIN DIFFERENT WAYS & THINGS THAT I WANT TO REALLY ACCOMPLISH. I'M LEARNING A LOT OF THINGS BY READING & PRACTICING PAINTING.

People that didn’t get the black and white pictures weren’t paying attention during the videos. Bob Ross was teaching technique not color ( although he covered that nicely as well) the one thing he didn’t want was a bunch of Bob Ross clones. He wanted students to think for themselves and gave us the tools to apply whatever color paint we want in the “wet on wet style.” Most of my paintings are lessons, but, some are totally original. I learned from this book and his videos. Miss you Bob RIP brother.

so informative... Its because of Bob I got into painting especially oil... I always would draw and use charcoal but I decided to follow Bob Ross steps he made it so easy please consider doing a kindle edition of this red book I'd buy it again
