SYIDINZN Hard Drive Carrying Case does its job well. I didn't need it for a hard drive, but that's what makes this case multi-purpose. I own a walkman-type cassette player from 1985 that's in fine working condition; these are hard to come by. I take walks and hikes while listening to my cassettes through earbuds. I needed a case small enough to place into a large jacket pocket, but strong enough to provide a fair degree of protection. My Toshiba fits very snuggly into the case, which has a tough EVA outer shell that resists bending or caving in when my fingers grip it tightly. I wouldn't expect it to protect the contents if dropped from a certain height because there's no padding within the reasonably hard shell. Nor would I expect it to protect my walkman if I stepped on it. But, it does add a level of security that should protect it if I bang it into something or drop it several feet. Two quality zippers are provided so that the case may be fully or partially opened from either end. A comfortable soft handle is attached; it's not wide enough for me to place my hand through it. The advertised dimensions are accurate. On one side of the inner case is a flexible mesh compartment that covers more than half of its length; it secures my earbuds and extra batteries. On the other inner side is an elastic strap less than 1 inch wide that's stitched on both sides, across the middle. It does a great job of keeping the walkman in place, which prevents it from accidentally falling from the case when the zipper is opened. There's no mention of whether the case is waterproof; with zippers, that would be difficult. But, if I splashed the closed case with a hose, I'm confident that its contents would remain dry for awhile; it's water-resistant. So, if you've got something of value that would fit into this case, at the current price of $5.99, this might be a cheap investment to protect your goodies!

To be honest, when I first got this, it looked a little cheap. However, after getting some use out of it, it seems fine.It's a pretty simple case with a zipper that runs along the edge as well as a small strap. The zipper works fine, opens easily and hasn't gotten stuck yet and the it closes easily as well. The inside of the case has a strap on one side and a small mesh pocket on the other side for keeping small cables or dongles in. The outer part of the case is fairly solid and it weighs very little.Overall, this is actually a fairly decent little hard drive case that should provide plenty of extra protection for your 2.5" drives along with a small bit of storage for any travel needs. I'd recommend it.

This SSD pouch works as it should with no issues. Zipper is nice and smooth and hand strap is just fine and fully attached and smooth. There is a mesh pocket inside for placing a cable if needed. The clamshell pouch is semi rigid and holds its shape really well. Fits my SSD in it's enclosure with the added USB A cable with no issues. Nice and tidy.SSD drives are really cheap these days. A 1TB goes for less than 50 dollars these days so it is wise to pick up an SSD drive and a cheap plastic enclosure around 10 bucks now and slap that sucker in and make it a USB A / C (your choice or both with an adapter) and use that to transfer or archive large sets of files, or even backup a whole PC and store it away somewhere. Cost ends up being 1/2 of the cost of a highly reliable fast 512 USB which hover around 110 dollars.
