Great locks, heavy weight, slightly heavier than I'd imagined and they are slightly smaller than expected but fits around front brake disc and rear chain and wheel so bikes not being wheeled away easily.

While I know that’s going to big however I haven’t really come to my realisation that it’s this huge. Great product! Made in Germany 🇩🇪. Well made talking of “heavy duty”? oh yes this is, is! Really the quality of what’s made. I’m sure it’s rust resistance. It’s going to be user friendly. And the weight… man you can think of Fort Knox , okay exaggeration but I’m not kidding. The thieves is going to bring a forklift to by pass this U lock. 😆 the funny thing is, huge for what I intended for. But I’m glad I have! Happy customer indeed!

My son uses this to keep his bike secure it's quite a nice weight it's been left outside and still hasn't rusted the lock quality looks fantastic and hasn't took any damage it's easy to use so very functional.

Well for whatever reason I am suddenly very security conscious these days, almost to the point of being excessively so. I do feel the need to secure things quite thoroughly. I already have several differing types of U lock’s and they are securing most of my shed tools and various bits n bob's of other equipment. So when this little pair of U locks came up recently as a new recent Amazon offer, I once again fell into the trap. My first impression is that they feel quite substantial. Somewhat chunky. If looks are anything to go by then these 2 units pass the test with flying colours. What REALLY surprised me however is that both locks were supplied with the same set of keys !! In short I’ve bought 2 identical locks !! Now that was unexpected. Not sure if that was supposed to happen but that’s how they arrived. (Best see my pics) Anyway I shall keep them because as I’ve said, they look the business and ‘feel’ very secure. All IMHO of course.

The lock looks quite resistant with such diameter. However, it can make slow to close the chain. You need to make sure that the U is properly inside of the lock, otherwise the key won't turn. Also I needed to cut a little of the protective plastic on the U or it wouldn't fit the chain I got. Also for opening it, sometimes it needs some pressure by tighting the U against the lock.

Pas très robust. Les maillons ne sont pas complètement soudées et le cadenas ne me semblent pas très sécurisant.
