To use with Art instead I use the quick connect adapter sold on Amazon and instead of cutting the bottom plate to nake the canister fit simply remove the 4 screws from the bottom plate then inster the canister and lock in place then put the bottom plate back on and put the 4 scews back. Enjoy.

False advertising. None of the important info about compatibility with soda stream machine is listed upfront. In fact the description advertises that the product is compatible with soda stream machines. Not even an asterisk to let u k ow there are exceptions to most soda stream models. Ridiculous. Do not buy from this seller

I am using these crew type cylinders with ad adapter for quick release and it works fine. These seem to last a bit longer than the ones from the appliance manufacturer, I surmise they might be better filled. I get about 30 to 35 of the litre plastic bottles carbonated, far short of the 50 or 60 the machine manufacturer claims - but good enough for me.

We have a Phillips brand soda machine, and these canisters work perfectly in it. Less expensive than the name brand CO2 canisters, but work just as well.
