The soil in our garden is full of rocks and stones. I have tried to use a larger pick axe before but too unwieldy. This tool is the right size and weight and does the job. It has made it a lot easier for me to dig out large enough holes to plant the larger specimens I have been waiting to put in.Lovely quality, delivered in two pieces but easy to put the metal head on the wooden handle.

Good tool was handy for small areas that were stubborn to break up in garden and helped to get roots out .

I've got a lot more use out of this than I expected. It's great for breaking up hard ground, but it's also good for making seed drill rows, weeding, lifting slabs and stones, and other general work around the garden. The blade is nicely made and polished, and the handle is very smooth but easy to grip. Fitting the blade is easy enough and while it's not a totally snug fit it definitely stays put. The balance is good and overall it's surprisingly light. Good quality and good value.

Handle seems durable but only received the handle, no full set, think they forgot to put it in🤷🏾‍♂️.
