Active Smart Plug II

Using mine with the Cosy Smart Thermostat. I have 2 smart plugs which work with the "Welcome Home" feature so you can add them to the Cosy schedule to come on/off (5 minute granularity) independently of the heating. You can't control them separately though or operate them via the app.It would be nice to have independent control and a button for each smart-plug to be operated directly from the app.

At the moment, I am trialing just one plug with my washing machine. So far it is working 100% in conjunction with the Inverter and Geo Solo II Android apps, If I am not at home, it is possible to check the output of my solar panel array and switch the plug on when the power output is high. It also gives me the Kw load the washing machine is demanding.If this trial is successful, I intend incorporating other Smart Plugs into my household, especially the heating system.For the price, you get a lot of bangs for your buck.

Can’t get to install and I’m not stupid. Me and my father have both tried it’s now sat in a cupboard. Disappointed!

If you own a Cosy box, these plugs cannot be simply switched on and off manually. You have to schedule the plug to come on with the heating. Not great when it's roasting hot. The description is wrong - there is no manual on/off setting via WiFi which is what I need.

Does what it says on the box. Connect to the Geo smart system and they work fine, Just a shame that they can't be controlled independently that's all as that would have been awesome !

Connects but doesn't work. Waste of money

Instructions that comes with the plug are insufficient. Contacted Green Energy and they were very helpful. Will purchase more.

I purchased this to link with my Cosy heating controller. Works perfectly.
