Excellent bit of kit!! Just works.

Been using this one for years, much better than the lower hold version that is a clear rather than blue gel. It provides a really strong hold that lasts all day. I have thick hair, and this gel keeps my style in place without feeling crunchy or stiff. It's easy to apply and washes out without any hassle. For the price, you really can't beat it. If you're looking for a reliable, strong hold gel that doesn't break the bank, I definitely recommend giving this one a try. I really struggled to find an excellent alternative to Manga head gel, with most not giving enough hold or being too much like a clay. This isn't Manga head, but it's a good alternative; the initial hold is good for short hair and the dry hold is very robust, lasting you through the day. Easy to use, and the gel isn't thick like a clay or really runny and sits nicely in the middle.

I had been getting a mad expensive Boucleme gel as part of my curly hair routine and to be honest it was a bit hit and miss and the hold wasn’t great. I kept seeing this gel in curly hair forums and so I thought I’d give it a go. It’s brilliant - the hold is much better, it’s still great for SOTC. Lost a star for a slight sticky feeling but once it’s dry that is completely gone. Would recommend to any CGM followers on a budget!

Great gel hold quality is excellent

My usual brand of gel has been discontinued and I took a chance on this because it’s a well known brand. Excellent results and such good value and about £8 cheaper than my usual gel !
