I got this ointment as an alternative to some other major brands that are known to test on animals. I usually don’t use products like this during my day to day life, they tend to be greasy and stain furniture, clothing..etc., however I recently got a new tattoo and needed an ointment to put on it after I took the new skin wrap off. I’m trying to switch our household over to cleaner products that are also cruelty free and vegan which isn’t always easy to do. In my search to find a clean product I came across this brand and decided to give it a try. As an added bonus, it’s also hypoallergenic. After ordering it, it arrived the very next day. The ointment isn’t the exact same texture as other brand name products who are not as clean and do test on animals. In my opinion, it just isn’t as smooth, it’s a little more gritty maybe? I’m not sure of the exact word I’m looking for here. This difference though, would not prohibit me in any way to not use the product or order it again, although this tube will last me forever because you only need a little bit at a time. You get a ton of this product at a very reasonable price and can actually feel good that you’re supporting something that’s not only better for you, but better for the environment(the tube is made from 65% post-consumer recycled plastic and it’s petroleum and Lanolin free), as well as knowing that no animals are suffering during the process of having this product tested and made! I’m very impressed and highly recommend it!

I apply a thin layer to my face it at night over the Honest night cream. Sometimes I only put the ointment on my eyelids & lips, sometimes the whole face. It’s such a skin care game-changer!

We love the honesty company! This is just another amazing product they have! Works really well and doesn’t leave a film or oil on her skin like other products have!

In love with this product. I use it daily. Much better than my old aquaphor. Cleaner ingredients and provides needed moisture for night time and day time use! It’s a miracle product for cuticles, fly-aways, nose area, elbows, etc!

This product works great, mostly for chapped lips with my toddler. However it does have a faint and (to me and him) a not so pleasant smell, almost like cardboard? It's odd but it does the job. I would likely look for a (completely) unscented option if at all possible.

My 3rd child would break out with ANY lotion I used - but this ended up being our saving grace. It’s the only thing that helped moisturize & protect her skin without causing a rash.

This is a staple in our household. We use it on any skin issue that arises with our children.I tested out a few different diaper creams, this works better than any others. Love love love, and I will forever recommend this product!

For someone with dry, sensitive skin, I’m always cautious about what I use on my skin. But this product doesn’t bother my skin at all! I use on my face and lips. The ointment is definitely thicker than others but that doesn’t bother me. I wish it came in a smaller to-go size tube, but I bought a small 1oz container for my purse. Sometimes I use overnight for “slugging” and my skin is still super hydrated by the morning. Definitely give this one a go!
