Works great and a great price
I've used this sealer about 20 times so far and it has worked 100% with no issues. I use it to seal food for sous vide cooking and I have had no leaks or failures to seal. The build quality is great and the magnetic latch for the sealer is a great idea. I've had different sealers in the past that were not as easy to use as this one. Also, the blue green color looks great on my kitchen counter. I use this once or twice a week and I will update my review if it fails.

Don't read the 1 star reviews
After my vacuum sealer Died on me. I was looking for a new For the value of the price, this is a really good one. After reading the one starred reviews. I was a little sketchy but still bought it. Do not read the one star reviews. Half of them don't even know how to use it due to saying it doesn't Suck out the air if you push down on it will start The seal quality is good.I love how it has the magnets. It's easy to use.And I love how it has the storage And cutter inside, I like I said. It works and all of them don't know how to use it because i've noticed sometimes the foam Insert that's That's used to create the vacuum. Sometimes those not seal all away. And you just gotta push down on it and then it's good. I do know there are some out there with defects. And yes, all you gotta do is get a replacement on. They'll send you one and when you send it back But overall don't discourage it right away So if you're looking for a cheap one, that's great, and gets the job done. Pick this one,

Great Value with a Learning Curve
As a vast user of several kitchen gadgets, I can relate that I have had my share of vacuum sealers that really stand out, most especially at the price point it sells. It's just a food vacuum sealer with a built-in cutter and bag storage, all automatically. One thing, however, that I would have to give notice of in using the HiCOZY is maybe having a little trouble with suction, the bag staying in place. You must line the bag just right in the machine for firm suction. Again, this was a bit of a learning curve pain in the butt at first, but once mastered, it really took only a few tries, and the results were hugely better. PerformanceOnce the bag placement is correct, it seems to do quite an effective job. It kind of struggles to get all the air out with some cuts of meat, though. For example, the machine will give a good seal, even though with thicker or irregularly shaped meats, it won't always have all the air sucked out. It didn't put me off, as the seal was still way better than having used no sealer at all. The best results were achieved with more uniformly shaped items, which came out perfectly sealed.Overall, the HiCOZY Vacuum Sealer Machine is just a solid little workhorse for the money. It will take a little practice to perfect the use, but surely, it is an investment for anybody who would like to prolong the shelf life of their food. For those in love with prepping meals or just wanting to save those yummy leftovers, this machine humanly gives a feasible solution if one has the patience to work through some initial quirks.

Good vacuum pressure at first
The first unit we purchased, it worked well for about five days. Then when we used the canister mode, everything went downhill from there. From that point on every time we conveniently would use the vacuum setting, it would complete the job however, back up air pressure still remains where we cannot lift open the chassis door. With some critical, thinking, realizing we could purge the side canister bladder; much like a eustachian tube. But having to repeat that process every time we sealed a food product is ridiculous. So we opted to order another one. We are in the process of returning the first unit, however, upon opening the second unit that was delivered to us without notification: this new unit simply fails out of the box, and will not vacuum seal at all. We checked the integrity of the bag, cut straight to uniform, lie it in the tray: and the new system fails to create any vacuum pressure at all. It’s been jumping through hoops trying to return the second unit so… the vacuum system seems to work well without the liquid catch tray. But - now the machine simply will not stop the vacuum process and keeps going on four minutes on end - we have to unplug the unit or hit the power button for it to stop: that’s also releasing all the pre pressure accumulated. The second unit simply drains your electrical bill. Someone from customer service did reach out and asked us to take video footage of the issue: doing so would result in a 3 to 4 minute video upload and lastly, we are not on their research and development pay grade chart: so our word within accountability to our experience, should be enough. We are pending a refund and have no idea what to do with the second unit. Purchase this unit at your own risk.

Works great
I've been using this every month for a while it works pretty good as long as you have a flat surface to put it on

Almost a good vacuum sealer
The media could not be loaded. I thought I had a good machine here and I was happy with the way it does a strong seal and a wet seal but the manual seal doesn’t really work very well. When I would go from a manual vacuum into a seal, instead of sealing it would just shut off. And then sometimes it would work and sometimes it doesn’t. So I don’t know if I got a defective machine or what. I like the fact that it has a built-in cutter, I like the fact that the liquid tray is removable for cleaning, and it can store the bags inside it. If you just want to seal something without a vacuum, it’s tricky because the machine requires a firm vacuum in order to press the seal tightly together. So if you want a light vacuum, it doesn’t really work very well. I made a video to show you what I’m talking about. If it was simply a matter of pressing down on the machine to manual seal it, I could live with that, but my machine works sometimes and doesn’t work other times. So I end up messing around with the machine for 10 minutes trying to get it to work to seal one item. I’m not sure if I have a defective unit or if they are all like this. So I don’t know what to tell you but my unit will probably have to be returned because it doesn’t always work the way it’s supposed to.

Seals and vacuums
It's a little loud but other than that pretty good, comes with a roll of bags and already ready to use bags which is a plus

Not worth it
After using this product and having my food go bad because the seal opens up after a week or two, I will say this sealer is not worth your money or time. I have had to throw out everything I sealed because they filled with air over time. There is no visible reason why.

Wow
I didn't thinks the magnetic feature would be a good thing. I was surprised to see how well it works. Even with liquids. The seal is tight and wide enough that I don't feel a dpuble seal is necessary in most cases. Does a great job. A bit big and pretty loud. The buttons are a bit odd since it turns off after every seal so if you have another one to do you have to turn it back on. Not a big deal, doesn't take much long just an extra step but the seal is superb. Great value.
