Okay, so here is my honest review about these butterflies, and I really had to think long and hard about the rating because there were some big issues. Here is why they earned 5 stars:1.) You get a large number of butterflies in the order2.) They are BEAUTIFUL. Each one is unique and is designed differently. Some are big, some medium, some small. The wings are different, the colors are different, and they are exquisitely decorated.3.) They make my daughter's room POP. They are an incredible wall decal and add real character to the room.4.) I do LOVE them. Which is why they get 5 stars.Here are the issues:1.) They come with these little white foam dots to put them on the wall with. These foam dots do not work and do not get the job done. They don't hold the butterflies to the wall well enough, and after my daughter and I painstakingly put these on the wall one evening, we woke the next morning to see half of them already on the floor. Also, there weren't even enough dots for all the butterflies to have one (though to be fair, I think it's because they gave me an extra butterfly, not one less dot! I still wish they added a few extra dots in though.2.) They are each equipped with a gold safety pin in the back. Why? I have no idea. Maybe so you can pin them to a curtain? Anyway, these just get in the way.SO, these are TOTALLY worth it. You should get them, even with the hassle, because they are truly stunning. They are made well, are sturdy, and I know we will use them again and again. After they all fell down we brainstormed how to put them back up. We ended up using push pins, which worked well. You could also hot glue gun them, super glue them, tape them, or nail them to the wall. I know craft stores sell glue dots, and those might work well as these are very light.Lots of pictures below for your reference!

The butterflies themselves are very pretty, they are thin plastic but pretty. The foam adhesive that is included with them is awful. Only half of the butterflies stayed up and for some reason on the back of the butterflies there is a tiny safety pin. If you want to make these work for your decor you must find your own way to put them up.

My boss is a butterfly lover. Bought these to decorate her office. Each on has a safety pin on the back, and the double sided sticky things SUCKED bc they were so small, it was impossible to peel off the backing to get to the sticky stuff. All of that said, stuck all 96 butterflies (with some helpful hands) to her door using plain old office tape rolling it over to make it double sided. Her staff of 30+ loved them so much that we turned it into a cute event where each staff member was allowed to pick one butterfly off of her door and wear it like a lapelle pin in honor of her birthday. All of this happened before she got to the office, and needless to say, was a complete hit even though the double sided stickers were Maloney.

These are beautiful and so realistic looking from just inches away! I wouldn't bother with the adhesive pads included in the package. When I wanted to hang them on the wall, I just bought some small Velcro dots. I put the more flexible white side on the wall and the stiffer clear side on the butterflies (just seems to stick better this way, though ideally, it would be nice to have the clear side on the wall). Anyway- this works like a charm! They can be moved around to different dots and you can change the direction they seem to be flying/facing without losing any adhesive power. The little safety pins are a bit weird (though nice for hanging them on curtains if that's your plan). It would be great if you could take them OFF, but they're in there in a way that you would have to cut or otherwise mutilate the safety pin to get it off. BUT, they don't show when you have the butterflies hanging, so it's not a big deal! Hope to update this review with some photos once I get them all hung up!

Got these on lightning deal. They’re really pretty and vibrant. You can easily fold the wings For the 3D effect. Each butterfly came with a small safety pin attached to it. Included in the package were small, circle double sided adhesives. They don’t stick well at all but I was aware of that that might happen based on some reviews I read before purchasing. Only a couple of hours after putting them on the wall, 8 of them had already fallen off and more kept falling off through out the day. So that’s the only negative thing I’d have to say about these. I recommend finding different adhesives.

Bright spot for someones day! We used these for a friend that was admitted in the hospital for a length of time. I think these would be cute for classrooms, bedrooms...the list goes on!

This review would be 5 stars if the pins were easily removable. As others have said, these butterflies come with tiny safety pins on the underside of the body. They can only be removed by cutting the wire. But I did cut the wires and used the sticky pads to stick butterflies on the box-top of a present. The present was a pkg of these butterflies. I bent some wings and left some flat. Picture attached. I think these are terrific and just ordered 3 more packs for gifts.

These 3D butterfly stickers look really awesome. Also you can get 48 for 8 dollars. It is a very good deal. You have to lift the wings to make it look 3D. But the form dots that comes along with the packet is not at all good. I had to buy another set of form dots to stick it to the wall. But even that didn't look good. The butterflies looked too messy when i am sticking it on the form dots. Finally i used cello tape and that worked like a charm.
