Nice book. Content a bit basic but I understand it has to appeal to a wider audience which is why its written the way it is. Overall a very good book, good quality and the chronological nature of how it is written will appeal to many people. A good first introduction into the mysteries

I have a huge collection of occult texts. This is now in my top ten of Occult History. It’s not an encyclopaedia as such but a chronological history of land mark discoveries, cults and occultist , famous texts. 1-2 pages ,at most, of introductory information that is a useful place to start a thread of study and investigation :) This is a good book.

Excellent book, from the cover’s art to the illustrations within and the text greatly summarising the history of the occult.

This book is about historical events which have some relation to the occult, but it does not describe the occult matters. Furthermore, every other page is just a picture, so the text is not that extensive. Slightly disappointing when you want to read about the actual occult themes and not just of the people.
