This cushion is a lifesaver! I have not used the heat or cool pack because I have not needed it. I had foot surgery so I will be traveling around on my knee cart for months to come and I wanted to be as comfortable as possible. I folded and draped a soft pillowcase over the cushion for added comfort. I’ve had no issues with skin burn on my knees as some people have mentioned so I recommend a soft pillowcase. The cushion attaches easily and is very stable. I had no problems with it shifting even with a pillowcase on it. It does add extra height to my knee cart so I recommend adjusting your cart to allow for the extra several inches. With the added cushion my knee cart now serves as an excellent rest for my foot when I am sitting out on the porch or at a restaurant. I highly recommend this product and would definitely buy it again if needed.

I don’t really understand all the negative reviews. I previously had a Top Glides cushion for my knee scooter. Although it was pretty, it had 0 support for my knee. It was just a foam cushion with a pretty cover. I was so tired of the knee pain that I ordered this one. So far, so good! I already feel 100 times better! My knee doesn’t even hurt after using this one. Trust me, this is better than the other available cushions. You’re going to want the support this one offers.

I bought this thinking that gel would be helpful and make it more comfortable. That is not really the case and I also don't think it's the purpose. When I took the gel out, it looks like it's for putting in the freezer for cooling the knee, or heating up to apply heat to the knee. It's not necessarily to provide comfort per se. Taking the gel out, the pad is actually comfortable. Again I find it absolutely crazy that people can't figure out that the straps on the inside of the thing need to be placed around the existing scooter pad to hold it in place. Once the straps are in place and then you pull down on the string and tighten, it stays in place very well. It also makes a great seat cushion when you need to sit down. Overall the product is good, but I don't think the gel should be left in all the time, as it tends to bunch up typically towards your shin and make your knee lift in a weird angle.

This device does not stay on well. It's smooshes and moves, and I fell off of the scooter twice. Second time: fool me twice, shame on me. But this is going back. Be very careful if you buy this and try and use it.

This knee pad is extremely comfortable, BUT I would not recommend because it slips and slides around on the knee scooter. You can't get it tight enough to stay which can be dangerous for the user.

A must have if you are on a scooter for any time. I was for a long time, and this helped me get around. You have to be careful at first, but once used to it it’s great Well built, and you must put it together. We asked a friend to do it, they needed YouTube video to build as instructions weren’t that great. I bought this product because I saw a man at the orthopedist office and he’d had good luck with it. I paid $104 I think for the pale green one because it was cheaper than the black, and why not have some fun. I hope this helps someone who needs one. I will soon pass it on to a friend who is having foot surgery. It’ll hold up for a long time.

I bought this to reduce the stress on my knee while using the knee scooter. I had two different metatarsal joints fused together and have zero weight bearing on that foot for about 8 weeks. I thought this would be great since the knee area of my scooter is hard plastic with minimal give. I think the concept was a great idea. Here is what I did not like: The foam inside is quiet firm. It was not the comfort level I had hoped for. The cover has 2 elastic straps to help secure it on the knee pad. It also has little "grippy" dots and a drawstring to secure. However, none of the combination of these actually secure this to the knee pad. It slips around bad! I had the pad slip out from under me and caused me to fall. Here is what I like: It has a removable gel pad you can freeze or heat. It work fantastic as an ice pack during recovery. Overall, $29+ was not a great price for the gel ice pack. (Which is the only thing I now use).
