Read the negative reviews. If you need exactly 3/16 (.1875) rod, this isn't it. This is 5mm (.197) diameter. Caveat emptor.

I polished it up, rounded the ends and I use it as a stir stick in my coffee when it's too hot. I keep a cup of ice water on my desk and cool the copper rod with it. 😁

Ordered 1/8 which was undersized and 1/4” which actually measures 5/16”. Both of which are useless for what I need them for.
