Good for 360 degree, not sure for general photography
Its quite heavy I doubt it would ever be allowed on as hand baggage as it would be viewed as a weapon. Its also quite long at about 75cm, it requires a head if not used with a 360 degree camera, the mounting screw is large for a mount, however it is sprung loaded so that a standard camera will fit when the outer fitting is depressed. It also rattles as the 'tripod' part actually inverts into the base of the monopod and the three legs rattle about. It blew over in a park when fully extended, it wasn't particularly windy. I was behind a tree as I don't really want to feature in my 360 degree. Would I personally buy it again? Yes, only because it performs a unique function I require. If I was buying a monopod to use as just a monopod I would look at a different model.

Not as compact or as portable as most monopods
Bought this as I have a heavy lens to shoot with. It’s sturdy, can’t fault that but lightweight it’s not neither compact.

Very stong but long limited use (with feet out) mono-pod
Being Manfrotto this mono-pod is very well made, it would get 5 stars for quality. The problems I have with it are that I did not check all the information and did not realize it has a minimum length of 600mm. I already own a standard Manfrotto mono-pod and it closes down to around 400mm long, which is much better for carrying around.I thought having a mono-pod with feet would be very useful, but having tried to use this mono-pod it has very limited use when the feet are deployed. The ground has to be level and the wind has to be low so overall it is not as useful a piece of kit as I thought. If you want a strong mono-pod that is much shorter try the Manfrotto Xpro Photo 4 Section model.
