Drastic fantastic!!!!
As a fan since the heady days of the 80s,I was the first too sigh when I heard the leps were doing a symphonic album, but as a loyal fan, bought the album.I'm so glad I did, this works so well, was expecting a mess, however this is just jaw dropping and I was so wrong. The reworking of some of the classics will take a few Plays to get the feel, believe me it's worth it!!Gods of war and love are my favourites so far, only 3 plays and I know this will be an album that will get heavy rotation in my collection.Def leppard prove why they are classed as one of the finest British rock bands this country has ever produced!!!

40 odd years later.....
....the lads from Sheffield are 1) still here and 2) releasing stuff with an symphony in place...who would have thought that as they listened to 'Hello America...back then, certainly not me.....For the most part this is a worthy release,i will say straight of the bat,i dont think 'Animal' and 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' work,so it kinda kills the momentum of the disc. They may grow on me in time but right now im not so sure.Highpoints, well, opener ..'Turn To Dust' immediately has me thinking of the Page/Plant:No Quarter album, a cool track and the likes of 'When Love And Hate Collide ' & 'Too Late For Love' are glorious. And thats not forgetting my favourite part, at the moment, 'Bringin' On The Heartbreak/Switch 625' which is immense. 'Gods of War' aint to shabby either.I have to say i think they missed an opportunity, surely 'Overture' from their first album would have benefitted from some strings and once gain the greatest Leppard trck ever 'Desert Song', am i the only person that loves it?,has been overlooked,i could have seen that with an epic string arrangement turning inti their 'Kashmir' moment. Still maybe they will save them for Volume 2?

Deff leppard still rock......Stunning Album !!!
As a ten year old listening to Animal on a school bus trip to Sheffield in 1983 have loved Def leppard ever since that moment .... . This collaboration with the Roylal Philharmonic Orchestra is just absolutely stunning vocally and instrumentally. It gives a new dimension to their songs and is a breathtaking..It was emotional listening to it as it works brilliantly. Keep doing what you do..rocking the world with your fantastic music. 👏

Surprisingly good
This is excellent as I didn't think it would be possible to have Def Leppard songs in classical versions. Worth a try. I really enjoy listening to this.

Ottima alternativa
