If you want to enjoy this short novel then read it in it's original form- english. This hindi translation by Mr Ajay Chowdhury is in my opinion very literal ie the work is translated word by word. This type of hindi translation is devoid of the emotions conveyed by the characters. I really did not like the hindi translation. I may be wrong as it may vary from person to person. Actually we don't communicate in the language in which the book has been translated. So, I would recommend the reader to definitely read the book but in english.
