Used on my motorbike and worked a treat!

Works but with a few issues
The drill bit is 14mm shank, most drills are 13mm so be prepared use a bigger chuck!Using a large tap wrench is necessary to turn the tap as it requires a lot of force to turn! The insertion tool has a depth collar on which made the tool unable reach the bottom piece of the helicoil and slipped , rendering the coil slightly proud of the surface but functional. Remove the collar before use!!

Issues
Good bit of kit let down by a couple of things. As mentioned before the drill won’t fit a standard 13mm drill Chuck, I had to machine mine down. And the installation tool isn’t adjustable but comes with a Allen key to adjust it which makes no sense, I found the the tang came out of engagement with the installation tool before it reaching its full depth which left part of the Helicoil protruding.

Cheaper Option Worked Better!!
As per the other reviews the drill that came wouldt fit any standard chuck and then found it impossible to get the standard plug tap that came to start. Ended up chucking it and going for the cheaper option on Amazon that is tapered from the original 14mm thread upto 14mm insert size. This was also good as it came with a hex on the end and required no pre-drilling....

Hard to use
The helicoil insertion tool does not allow you to preload the insert so it’s like trying to fight with a slinky to get the helicoil to start winding into the tapped hole. Also, the inserts seem very loosely wound making the aforementioned even more difficult.I got them to work ok but stupidly frustrating due to poorly designed tooling.
