Logitech Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM Super Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker - Fireball Red(Renewed)

I've used UE products for years and finally decided to upgrade my pair of Roll 2s since those are out of production. This speaker is easy to connect and use. It sounds pretty good at high volumes and is pretty immersive. There's a few things I loved about the old UE Rolls that are missing here. These WB3 isn't compatible with the app, and thus there isn't an equalizer. You can still pair these but at this price point buying a pair is not on my agenda. I also miss the floatation device that came with the old Rolls. The WB3 floats and is water resistant but I much prefer my speakers to be out of the river or lake or pool as much as possible and that's where I use them the most. I use this new speaker on my kayak though and it sounds pretty good outdoors but the sound can get lost at big parties. I suppose that's not the intent. Overall I like this. I just wish it was a much better upgrade. The one area I feel they improved is the battery life. They claim 22 hours on a full charge and I've had it playing for 12 hours no problem.

Wowowow. So glad I made this purchase. Tested this little guy out on a camping trip this past weekend and it blew us all away. Its small, light weight, and with the bright blue color I picked, super easy to find when you're rummaging around in your tent. The sound on this thing is really impressive. Really clear sound and nice bass for something so little. Plus it can get REALLY loud. We have a Google Home and Google Home mini at home and the UE Wonderboom has way better sound then the Mini. Plus, portability is a no brainer. Love that it has the loop on top to attach to a backpack.My only con to the wonderboom is battery indicator. When I received it, I looked up the manual and said that you hold the volume up + volume down on the unit to hear a "tone" that will indicate what the battery level is at. That there is a High, Medium and Low tone. Well I had no idea what tone I was hearing when I pushed the buttons. I was googling like crazy trying to hear/understand which tone the device was at. Charged it over night and realized what the difference was: The "High" battery tone has three little chimes that are higher pitch. The "Medium" get a little lower in pitch, with two chimes. And the "Low" is deepest in pitch and only has one chime.

Bought this to replace my JBL clip, which I loved but was always afraid would somehow sink while I paddle boarded. I haven’t taken this out on my board yet but the sound is a HUGE upgrade- nice bass comparable to my $$ Bose soundlink! It’s kind of heavy in the hand, with a robust feel and sleek controls. Pairs easily and consistently with my phone, although battery life seems to be a good deal less than advertised. I bought a carabiner to use to clip it into bags, etc. I love the unicorn colorway because I feel like it will be less likely to be stolen by my teenage boys this way! Of note: the price for this seems to fluctuate a lot by week and by color. I knew I wanted the Unicorn b/c I live with teenage boys who would swipe anything even remotely neutral, and I jumped when it hit $65. (Its $95 at the time of this writing, which is a big swing!)

The is by far the best speaker I have purchased yet. It’s great for everything: hiking, swimming, relaxing, or even having a get together with friends. The portability, functionality, and overall apperance work together seamlessly. The battery lasts a long time, it’s easy to pair, and easy to use. The quality sounds amazing when you pair another Wonderboom with it and is perfectly synced. The waterproof ability is awesome even though I only really use it in the shower. It sounds good and looks good!

I absolutely love this speaker. I didn't really think I needed this in my life, but my best friend purchased a set of two for us for Christmas and I have fallen head over heels in love with it. This tiny speaker packs a powerful punch for the price. It is water resistant and I use it at least once a day in the shower. The fun apple-size makes it sit well in the palm, lap, counter, table top, and anywhere else you should choose to use it. My phone connects with it anywhere in my apartment. Syncing two of these bad boys together is challenging at first, but there are a couple of videos on youtube that do a great job of explaining. The only design flaw present is that there is no battery indicator. I know there is a way to check the battery level and determine it by tone, but I haven't figured this out yet.

I went and compared 3 similar portable speakers with each other (same price of around $100 each):JBL Flip 4- Best quality sound of the 3 (amazing quality - very similar to Bose Soundlink Mini)- No noticeable crackle at max volume with high treble in music- Strongest/deepest bass (my table was shaking on max volume)- Very loud max volumeUltimate Ears WONDERBOOM- Smaller than JBL 4 but larger than Bose Micro- Crackling at max volume for some songs with high treble (Was not expecting this)- Bass is not as strong (very slight bass)- Very loud max volume (similar to JBL 4)Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth- Smallest of the 3- Max sound was at 75% that of JBL 4/Ultimate Ears- Sounds "muffled" and not clear (quality is not even close to that of Bose Soundlink Mini)- Exposed charging slot (is this really waterproof?)Overall - I would pick JBL (amazing quality & very similar to Bose Soundlink Mini, but waterproof!) and Ultimate Ears for portability (75 % size of JBL 4). The Bose Micro, although very small, had really poor quality sound for the price (most disappointing).

I've owned this speaker for just under a year now, and can honestly say it's the best portable speaker I've ever owned. It has crisp, high-quality sound, and has run up to 8 hours on continuous use. Its compact size makes it perfect for small spaces, and it has a neat little loop you can hang around hooks and small poles if you don't have anywhere to set it down. It can definitely pump out the bass most large speakers can, but at a more convenient size, and not requiring as much to spend. A must-have for any music lover!

The media could not be loaded.  This is the first time that I have tried portable speaker from Ultimate ears. I have used JBL and Sony before this and they were good. This time I wanted to try something different and ordered Wonderboom. It really is a Wonder with lots of Boom. Terrific BASS and sound clarity. You wouldn't realise that it's portable, it's as loud as some of the 2.1 speakers and seriously waterproof. Watch the video that I have uploaded. It's little pricy but worth every penny. Try it, you will not regret.
