I wanted this to go on a gallery wall I have in my home; I figured just a cute, gold decoration would add some light and sparkle to the wall. It does look pretty good from far away, but when you see it up close the gold paint looks a bit garish and cheap. The metal feels sturdy, though, and the hook on the back made it very easy to hang. I certainly wouldn't buy this expecting a really nice focal point (it's pretty small), but having it on the wall with a bunch of other stuff, it looks pretty good.
