FANAUE FGP-65 Picatinny Arca-Swiss Compatible Rail Plate with Anti-Slip Slot, CNC Machined Aluminum,Tripod Dovetail Adapter Mount

Trying to find the most flexible way to support my rifles. I think this is it. Sometimes I like to shoot from a bench with a bipod, other times I want to shoot from a tripod. This item allows me to quickly convert from either.

These are great and work flawlessly. Very nice pieces. I’d post a picture of it “installed” but, well…you know.

The 4 set screws in the bottom of the plate are a hair to close together and wont fit a base mount unless you remove two screws. I put all 4 screws in and filed them flat on the inside where they sit on the base.

Havn e not used it yet but it fits really good!

I recently purchased a tripod to stabilize my rifles when shooting in the field. Due to advancing age and health conditions (e.g., 3 shoulder surgeries), I can’t hold a rifle as long or steady as I could 40 years ago. It seems there is now a standard dove-tail type interface to mount things (cameras, lights, firearms, etc.) to tripods called the Acra-Swiss plate. This particular device attaches to the M1913 Picatinny rail on a rifle’s forearm, which then clamps securely into the mount on the top of the tripod. The mounting block requires at least 6 slots of M1913 rail to clamp to.The machining and finish quality of this mounting block is excellent. I will need versions for M-Lok and Key-Mod as well to adapt to various styles of MSR handguard.

This adapter was a much a cheaper alternative than what I was looking at.Bought for accutac bipod recently bought, I will be buying more of these adapters in the future
