Great monitor used for the legion go and gpd g1
I originally ordered this monitor for use with my legion go. Unfortunately, I accidentally broke it after having it for 2 days due to cracking the screen. Do be mindful of the screen as it is quite fragile. I liked it enough though that I bought another. It has been excellent since, it pairs great with the legion go due to the 1600p screen as well as supporting 144hz with freesync. Yes that's correct it's not advertised as 144hz but it does indeed support it. It's claimed it supports hdr but not really it just makes the screen brighter, it's not real hdr. I will say however that the picture is very vibrant all things considered and picture quality is excellent. I like the included case that doubles as a stand, it also comes with a power supply as well as all the cables you will need. There are buttons on the side for navigation of the menus, they're not the best but serve there purpose, they can be a little fiddly to get used to. The other side has two usb c ports and a hdmi port. The usb c ports support display port over usb c, I have a usb c to display port cable to connect it to my gpd g1. Which allows me to be able to play at 1600p 144hz and have freesync which was the primary reason I bought it. Overall I really like the monitor, I like the portability the size is excellent especially sat right in front of you. Edit the hdr does work and is picked up by windows i was mixing it up with a different monitor.

Works great, brilliant screen
I quite like this monitor, I thought it might have been too big (I mean 21.5” as portable sounds a bit overrated right?) but it’s actually a lot smaller than I expected and remembered my old 22” monitors were. It has a metal frame, it’s quite well protected in the box, comes with cables and USB C plug. I use it with my Xbox and it is detected as 120Hz, works perfectly in that scenario. The sound is what you can expect for these monitors, it’s decent and can get loud enough for a meeting where everyone isn’t too far off the screen. Image quality is as expected, looks great out of the box, definitely 100% srgb. The menu takes some getting used to, there’s no text and only icons so one has to guess which is what; it has the common colours / brightness / etc settings. Overall it’s a decent monitor, if you’re looking for something that is big enough for a group of people to look at and portable then definitely consider this one. The only thing that would make it perfect is a sleeve or a cover as it doesn’t t include one and it’s not quite easy to find one that fits.

So good, I want a second! A few minor quirks.
I initially bought this monitor to replace a damaged one in a livestreaming rack. This ticked a lot of boxes for me, the size, USB-C power, decent enough colour accuracy (I was using a proper ref monitor and scopes in addition, so it didn't be perfect), full HD (actually the QHD, marketed here as 2K, resolution was a bonus!); full sized HDMI and Vesa mount (what a lot of displays at this price point and size lack.) I also used it as a secondary monitor for a laptop, the specs listed are right and it's a very 'pleasing' display to look at (much nicer and brighter than the screen on my Legion 15") The quirks: For use with HDMI, they are pretty clear about using the included USB wall charger in the manual, and this is accurate. I tried with a Google (Chromecast) and old Apple USB-A plug - the apple only worked at minimum brightness and the Google didn't work at all. The display absolutely can be powered and video signal over a single USB-C cable. I could only get the included one to 60-70% brightness before it would restart and default back to minimum. I swapped it out to a high quality USB-C cable I had laying around and 100% seemed to work fine (I only had it at 100% briefly for testing, in the environment I was in, 80% was more comfortable and I had no issues with that.) The cover/stand is fine and holds the display fine as a stand, but the magnets on the front in the closed position are pretty weak. Finally, a slightly annoying issue, the monitor seems to reset every time it is power cycled. Mine always boots at 0% brightness. None of these are deal breakers, this is a pretty decent product at a pretty decent price, and I would definitely buy a second to live full time in my laptop bag.

So good I bought it twice!
The 16ich 120Hz monitors are great little portable monitors at a brilliant price for the feature set. I ended up bagging two so I can have them both in my laptop for a triple screen setup. What I liked: 1. Uniformity is great, both monitors I have got have got great uniformity across both panels and the backlight bleed is almost non existent particularly at the edges like many portable monitors suffer from 2. 120Hz mode works well and provides a nice smooth picture (not the best possible from a full desktop monitor but definitely an upgrade over 60Hz) 3. Resolution is perfect at this size (4k would be a little impractical at this size IMO, particularly at native resolution if you are trying to get the most screen real estate) 4. Out of the box default picture settings work well which is great 5. Freesync support (which I didn't see advertised, bonus!) Whats not great: 1. The cover / stand is pretty flimsy compared to other portable monitors I have had so I have ended up getting some hard-shell covers separately for them because I don't trust they wont get damaged in transport. 2. HDR is not great, which is as to be expected as any IPS panel without dimming zones can't actually do real HDR just an approximation which can end up looking a little strange Overall for the price these are a cracking deal!
