WORKED WELL FOR MAKING CUTOUTS OF CARTOON CHARACTERS WITH DREMEL LITE
Happy customer. Suspect those who said this is MDF material are right. This was the only product I found that came in fairly large sizes.

You get what you pay for
Took a gamble on this more affordable (cheaper) wood from Amazon… not worth it at allllll. I wasted so many hours waiting for things to laser that just ended up being junk. The wood is sooo thin (auto measure on laser measures it thinner than the described thickness, more closer to 1/16 than 1/8) that anytime you pick anything up or touch it in the slightest to glue it, it just falls apart. I cannot emphasize that enough. It’s like tissue paper delicate, it’s unreal. Dollar Tree wood is a million times better, and I never thought I would say that prior to this purchase. Beyond that, out of the two packs that I bought, the majority of the boards are unusable for the projects I originally intended them for, as a majority of the boards have deep knots compromising the look and, of course, the overall stability of the wood. See pics for what I’m referring to…these definitely should have been pulled with quality control. Anywho, you get what you pay for, and lesson learned that this is not it at allllll. Save yourself the headache, disappointment, time, and frustration.

Perfect to make doll house furniture
My daughter begged me to turn her old doll house into a Christmas house for her elf’s on the shelf. We had some furniture but we needed to divide a room to make an extra bathroom. I know I know it’s a little much but it was something fun we did together. We made a deck, counters, tables, beds, and used it for walls. It was very smooth so no splinters and it was pretty easy to cut with a exacto knife. We didn’t quite finish all of it but there is always next year. She even took some of the extra and drew and painted some pictures on them.

I wasn't expecting much
and my expectations were met. This is very flimsy feeling and not for projects you want to sell or use, but it is great for testing laser cuts. We use it as "larger scrap" when testing laser designs for fit etc. instead of using our regular wood supply. To give you an idea, even when we just do a light engrave, you can see pinholes all the way through the other side like it was cutting. Not durable enough or nice feeling enough for most projects but perfectly acceptable for learning and testing.

Best for modeling, not products that will be handled!
I bought this for laser cutting some boxes, but on the way from cutting a piece on my workbench to the laser cutter I managed to snap the wood by just bumping into something with it. I did some stress testing on some more pieces and determined it would not be good for making things that will be handled, especially if the thing have narrow pieces that may overhang. It snaps at the natural seams between the wood fibers.Despite that it is a good looking wood, so rather than messing with shipping it back, I'm going to keep it and use it for décor pieces and such that won't be handled. The sheets are around 3.2mm (~1/8in) thick. Also be aware that they ship the product just wrapped in plastic, so its more susceptible to the top or bottom sheets becoming damaged as well as for the edges of all pieces, so don't order just one pack if you have to have 24 sheets edge to edge. The two pieces I measured came out to between 3.24 to 3.52 mm in thickens in different spot.It is very important to note that this is NOT plywood and that is most likely why people are reporting warping issues. It is made up of solid wood and solid wood warps across the width of the grain when exposed to changes in humidity level/temperature. Plywood negates a lot of the warpage by having multiple layers of wood glued together with the grain of each layer going in the opposite direction as the previous one resulting in them counteracting each others attempts to warp. If you get pressed flat, dried, and then seal it with something like clear coat, that should help prevent so much warpage.

Good value
These sheets were easy to work with and cut with a razor knife to make dulcimer music instruments that sound great because of the balsa wood’s properties.

It's not Balsa Wood but a normal MDF board .

Cheating. Do not buy
This is absolute cheating. This is not wood at all. It's MDF. It's impossible to cut this with scissors. Complete waste of money
