These are wonderful earpad replacements! The originals were getting a bit flaky, I got tired of having faux leather flakes on my clothes (and sweaty ears!) so I ordered these. I'm glad I did. These are comfortable, aren't sensitive to scrapes like the faux leather ones are, and sound quality is ever so slightly improved as the cushions are more solid.

Clicked in instantly when I was done removing the disintegrated stock pads from the headset. The pads are flat, which I prefer over rounded pads. The cooling-gel aspect is only cool for a moment before they equalize with the temperature of your head, but it's a nice momentary feeling before they settle into being a really comfortable replacement. I don't hear a very noticeable difference in noise-cancelling or sound signature vs the stock pads, but my stock pads were falling apart so I can't be sure.

Brought my Sony WH-1000XM3 back to life. Very easy to replace, perfect fit, comfortable, and does not make my ear sweaty like the original. The only issue I have with it is the opening for the ear can be a tad larger. It squish my ears a bit and over time it gets huts a little. I my a particular large person, with average size head and ears. Perfect for people with small ears, but average ears -- not so much.

Much better then the original. Very soft and my ears do not sweat like before.

The cushions arrived in good condition (new), easy to install and even came with tool for the swap (cheap, but good enough for the task). The cushions themselves are great. The originals were just a little to thin, and after prolonged wear, I would start to feel the speakers pushing on my ear. These are about a 1/3 thicker and more solid ( gel vs foam). I don't really feel any cooler from them, but they are definitely as comfy as original if not more.

I honestly didn't believe the cooling gel would work THAT well.ive never tried it before and now i dont want anything else. I typically use my headphones to sleep and the issues I encountered with the stock pads was sweating and discomfort because they would flatten out really easy plus that gross feeling of wet leather sticking to my head. my body just runs hot so these new ear pads Are amazing,no more sweating by my ears and if by chance I do It would only cool em off anyways .I haven't had the need to add water to make them colder because they work that well. The pads look great and they don't change the sound profile also it's not made of leather so no pealing or sticking and it's better at noise isolation .also they look much better then before and fit nice and flush. All In all an amazing product for my Sony wh1000xm3 And Im getting a pair for my Skullcandy crushers as well

I've always had a problem with these headphones getting too hot. I also own a pair of the xm5s. After getting these replacement pads they are nice and a bit cooler than my xm5s even though I haven't tried drops of water like the instructions say. The material feels good on the ears. They put new life back into the XM3! Noise canceling suffers a bit but that's with any non OEM pads, just make sure every side is clicked in place.

They look and feel good but they're definitely not cooling. They feel cool when you first put them on, but within minutes they absorb your body heat and feel warm to touch. They even stay warm to the touch for a few minutes after taking the headphones off. So if you're looking for a cooling effect, these do the opposite. Update after a few months of use: These definitely get much more warm than regular pads. I'm not sure why they're being sold as cooling pads when they are much warmer than the pads that come with the headphones.
