Q: Cuckoo and door work, clock is ticking and swinging pendulum, but the actual hands aren't moving :( ive tried repositioning them + fresh batteries.

Hi there, I have this clock ,I think it's faulty get it exchanged they are a very good company. Mine came with a weight missing ,and they sent me 2 weights in 3 days. If the hands are not moving its a fault my advice. Hope this helps it is a lovely clock and would cost you so much more in Germany. Best regards.

It uses 3 baby c size batteries in total in the clock. You should change them every 6 months or so.

Q: I changed the batteries and cannot get the cuckoo to work now

Hi there, If your clock requires 3 baby c batteries then you are recommended to use the zinc carbon type. Apparently the alkaline batteries like Duracel have a high current and can damage the electronic movement. So my advice would be use high quality zinc carbon batteries like Varta and change them every 6 months to avoid leakage. I hope this helps, Best regards.
