Easy To Use By-Hand Wire Stripper
I gave 5 stars because this is a quality product for the price charged. It has areas that could be better, but i didn’t expect perfection at this price. This wire stripper is easy to use. I set it up on a shelf in the garage where i store wire meant to be recycled. I was able to easily swap out the plates to make stripping smaller wires more efficient.I was able to use it by myself but it worked much better to have a second person to help feed the wire or move it away after. It comes with bolts so you can drills holes and secure it to a shelf, but I opted to use a C-clamp instead. The pressure of the weight of the wire can be a lot if you’re operating it by yourself. If the wire isn’t fed in straight it can cause the insulation to bunch up and prevent it from going in further. The blade has to be set to the right depth. Not enough and removing the insulation can’t be removed and too deeply then the wire strands can be cut into tiny daggers.I was able to easily strip wires between 8 awg and 500 kcmil. I personally don’t think smaller wires are worth the time and effort. Keep in mind that this creates a slit in the insulation that you must manually remove afterwards. The handle works well and i was able to grip it easily. I just had to ensure it would extend beyond the edge of the shelf because it swings lower than the level of the base. The blade adjusted easily as well and i was able to lock it in place very easily and it didn’t move at all during use. I broke the back glass plate when i was operating it by myself but this didn’t impact its use. I can see myself having this for years to come with no complaints. It’s been very durable so far.

Quick & Affordable
Only used on 12 Awg but it works like a charm. Straightens the kinks in the wire while cutting so theres no need to straighten out the wire before throwing it in the wheel. Easy to set up & comes with a manual and an extra blade. Plenty of videos on Youtube as well. Plus it’s half the price of the Strip meister. Already made my money back in a couple hours. 5/5

much better than trying to strip wire by hand.
This wire stripper work wonderfully for large gauge wires, but the smaller 14 and 16 gauge is tough. There really needs to be a guide on both side for the small wire otherwise it just twists out from under the blade getting stuck between the blade and the angled feeder wheels. It also work better if the wire is super straight.Another thing I'm finding is that the crank arm is too long to use without the stripper right on the edge of wherever it's set up. It'd be nice to have a shorter arm so that it doesn't strike the table you want to work on or make the stripper machine taller if it really requires that much leverage to run the wire through.I haven't put a coreless drill to it yet because I haven't used long enough wire of the same gauge, so I keep having to adjust the cutting wheel.

Get the insulation off to use copper in crafts and jewelry
Works great. Learning curve to it. But is great.

Great Investment!
It was tough to find the right setting for the wires, but once we got it everything went smoothly moving forward. We tried to use the electrical wire which is a little thick, but it stripped it well you just have to make sure the wire is straight when feeding the device. To make sure it doesn't cut the copper within the electrical wire it's best to go at a steady pace because if you go to fast the wire will start to curl. I installed the wire Stripper device on a folding table which still turned out just fine. The money spent for this is a well thought out investment and the time has been shortened compared to doing it by hand.

Smaller Wire Slips
Do not waste your time. Spend a few bucks more to buy a better quality stripping machine. Doesn't work at all with smaller wire, slips too often.

Perfect for the price
Well constructed and sturdy. Takes a minute to get used to it but once you do, it works very well.
