Very good.
Good information. Lots of info on gear changes and the math behind various gears for various TPI's or metric threads. My lathe has a gear box, so 40% of the book was not of value to me. Easier to read than other books in the series. If your new to screwcutting on the lathe, youtube videos help a lot for the basic process. This book give you the math and technical information.

Very Thorough and Detailed
This series of books is very technical. I was hoping for a high school level course but these seem more college oriented. But, I can't complain about a product being TOO good, can I?

Good how-to, not a thriller novel
Sorry but the choices for rating this book make no sense. this is a how-to for machinists, not a thriller! Good explanations though. This is a classic how-to!

Threadcutting in the Lathe
While grounded in the practical methods for cutting single and multiple lead threads it also makes the theory and math involved in determining change gears need for non-standard threads understandable. As a plus it explains what is required in plain language to modify one's own lathe to use some of the bag of tricks high end tool room lathes use when cutting threads by the practical experience modifying his own Myford. Well worth the money for the person with a metal working shop at home.

Ottimo prodotto ma la spedizione è stata lunghissima
Bel testo e ottimo prodotto, lunghissimi i tempi di arrivo, per altro ne ho ordinati di due tipologie ma per ora ne è arrivato uno solamente

Screwcutting on the lathe.
The book arrived promptly and well packaged, with correct postage pre-paid. The explanations and examples are well done for even the novice, me, to understand. I've just got my first mini-lathe and made many threads now, both external and internal. The book instructed me on what to buy in the way of tools and how to grind the correct angles to achieve the required thread. The section on setting up the lathe screw gears is heavy and very detailed. I read this through many times but still not sure I've grasped the theory, even though I've achieved some great threads of all sizes. 2BA to M3 to 20mm pipe connection on conduit. That's the largest size I can get through the bore of my headstock.

Practical and useful information from an old classic
A modern printing of an old classic, from the late, talented, Martin Cleeve. I have an older version of this book, but this is a nice freah copy at a very reasonable price. The detail about threadforms is limited by the limited page count, but the information is both practical and useful.
