I noticed in some of the reviews people had an allergic reaction to this sunscreen. For me that is not the case at all. I consider myself to have combo/sensitive/acne prone skin and I am in my mid 30s. I am currently on prescription hydroquinone tretinoin given to me by my dermatologist for discoloration and skin issues. As you can imagine wearing sunscreen with this medication is absolutely crucial. I am not able to wear chemical sunscreens right now due to my skin being extra sensitive. This mineral sunscreen blends out like a dream leaving no white cast on my skin. It is not greasy and wears well under makeup and over my moisturizer. It is an “every day” sunscreen for me. If I’m going to the pool or beach I will change to a higher spf with water resistance from eltamd. I would describe the finish of this sunscreen as natural leaning a little bit matte but not too matte to where it drys out my skin. All I know is when I wear this my face doesn’t get greasy and it layers well with other things on my face. That is more than I can say for more mineral sunscreens. If you buy this sunscreen I highly suggest you do a patch test before applying it all over your face. I have had no issues with rashes or it breaking me out. This is a 100% honest review I was not sent this product for free! I just am thrilled to find a mineral sunscreen that isn’t greasy because most of them are in my experience. It also blends like a dream and there is literally no white cast which is rare. To me it looks like it has a very slight tint. It is not stark white in my opinion. It’s almost like an ivory color with a cool toned base. Pictures I posted are of the sunscreen applied on my hand, then blending it and immediately after it’s blended in. It sets down quicker than other mineral sunscreens I’ve used in the past which is a HUGE plus for me.

very hydrating sunscreen with a nice glow to the skin doesn’t make my skin feel oily or dry or clogged the pores since the short time I have been using it and it was well worth the purchase.

I have combination skin and acne scars. I am picky about the texture of my sunscreen. I found this sunscreen when I wanted to switch from a chemical to mineral formula (switching from elta md). It provides a matte but slightly glowy finish. It dries down and does not leave a greasy/oily finish. The sunscreen provides the perfect amount of moisture. My skin is not too oily at the end of the day, but it has enough moisture to not exaggerate my acne scars/texture. Also, if you feel you need more moisture, you can easily layer a hyaluronic acid serum under it.

I would not consider myself someone to have sensitive skin, so when a read a few reviews saying this gave them a face rash I didn’t think much of it. But within 3-4 days of using it I developed a bumpy rash on both of my cheeks. It’s disappointing because I liked the way it rubbed in, but certain skin types must not be able to tolerate it.

I'm a big fan of Summer Friday's brand. This sunscreen is great for everyday use like under your makeup or just for day to day use. Since its SPF 30 you are recommended to reapply every 30 minutes. I don't recommend for the beach or pool unless you are planning to reapply every 30 minutes. The consistency is a milky and light weight which layes perfect with makeup. 10/10 recommend and love this product!!
