Great value, beautiful design
The knife is designed beautifully and the wood trim gives that classic look that I wanted. The price of the knife was the most attractive part of the deal so I was actually a bit skeptical about the quality when placing the order but gave it a go anyways. When the knife came, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the blade was razor sharp and the design was as beautiful as pictured. I could see that the blade will likely wear out quickly but for a knife under $10, that was expected. The only downside was that the locking mechanism after opening didn't work. I had to manually extend the blade to get the lock in place. So I contacted the seller about the problem. Thankfully, the seller sent me a replacement unit which works fine. I am impressed by the craftsmanship, values and customer service of the blade and transaction.

Won't lock, exchanging. Good ergonomics, fit & finish for the price.
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: Yep, 4 is good considering the low price. 3 overall, but it's cheap (really cheap), and shipped at this cost. The new one works fine. It opens MUCH easier. It opens properly and locks into place. I can actually open it with the thumb stud too, although it only locks using the thumb stud if I have it pointed downward. That will probably work in any position as it gradually breaks in and smooths out, which is common for any knife. The metal is still very soft. It's easy to sharpen, but the edge rolls easily and I haven't had it long enough to test durability. I probablt won't bother because it's so darn cheap. It does take a nice edge though. After smoothing on a cheap diamond hone and ceramic rods, it painlessly passes the common arm shaving test. Good enough for a cheap knife. :)Original review:I think I could give it a strong 4 depending on the quality of my replacement. My first one is a lemon.Pretty sturdy for the price. Thin frame could stand to be beefed up, and it has standard cheapo nylon bushings, but it's labeled a gentleman's knife so maybe you shouldn't expect it to be a workhorse, especially at this price as a Prime add-on item. The weight feels nice and the ergonomics have a hundred times more thought put into them than most "tacticool" knives like the one linked to in the questions. Also doesn't have any ridiculous pointy bits, holes, or useless saw-like-in-appearance-only notches which would weaken the blade. The only ergo problem is the tip of the clip which sticks out 1/4" into your palm (see photos) Not comfortable or I could consider a 5 for a non-lemon. I might remove my clip to hammer it down.Fit is acceptable and finish is quite good for a knife this cheap. The scales aren't perfect, but good for this price. Only slight gapping, and they're very well rounded on the corners so you don't feel anything. They also swell outward very slightly which prevents you from feeling any gap. The satin metal section is pretty nice looking. The black blade just doesn't fit the rest of the look at all, but I knew that from the photos. I might strip mine once I exchange it for a working one. That brings me to the reason I'm returning it: mine doesn't lock back (see video). It makes a faint click sometimes as the edge of the liner lock dips in, but not fully because it's too long. In fact, I can usually push the blade closed with less force than is required to open it. When it does lock, the liner jams, again because it's a hair too long. It also takes an extraordinary effort to open. Maybe it just needs to "loosen up" or "break in", but i had to press until I had a sore depression in my finger that stuck there for minutes. It feels bruised after only a few tries. The thumb stud is completely useless. Mine also seems to have Torx head screws, one that's clearly allen head under the clip, and a couple that couldn't decide which they wanted to be.

Great knife for engraving
We bought these to engrave with our small laser. Worked out great and the knife itself is sturdy.

Abysmal Quality Control.
This supplier delivers with very poor quality control. Knife arrived missing a screw holding down the clip and locking mechanism, and upon replacing the screw with one from the clip, I discovered the action spring was bent, resulting in a very difficult-to-open knife. I would very much like to provide a better review, as the knife handle and blade are a decent product, but the QC checks need to improve before that can happen.EDIT: After ordering a replacement, I have bumped my review down to one star. The replacement was clearly used, the blade was chipped, and two of the plate screws were stripped beyond recognition. I am very dissatisfied with the seller.

A Very Handsome Gentleman's Pocket Knife Indeed! Excellent Quality And Value
I am a "knife guy" and have a number of more expensive knives, some a lot more expensive. I also started buying some of the very good quality high value knives and I now have several dozen. I have had this one for about 3 weeks, and in the my value league of knives this Tac-Force is near the the top of the list. I saw this on amazon and ordered it based on the photo. The photos do not present it nearly as well as it is "in person". This is a very elegant looking knife that feels perfectly form fitted to your hand. The metal part on the side where your thumb rests is very comfortably contoured. The top of the blade has a very generous thumb ramp with perfect jimping that gives you a secure and comfortable grip. It is assisted opening and with a back flipper that snaps open very easily with a solid lockup. It is a liner lock design. People who don't know anything about knives I guarantee will say "wow, that is a beautiful knife". I purchased 2, at different times through "Unlimited Wares" on Amazon. They sent mine quickly and in factory new condition. So I would judge them a reliable seller. The wood scales are beautifully finished, as is the knife overall. For the purpose of an EDC knife, compared to others, some may find it relatively heavy. This does not bother me at all. It has a very good quality pocket clip to hold it securely. The look of this knife is not likely to draw attention as a threatening "weapon". The blade is a relatively soft steel so it is easy for the average person to sharpen without expensive equipment. It holds an edge well. If you have no experience with sharpening, please do not use a file, a bench grinder, or a belt sander. There are plenty of youtube videos on knife sharpening for the novice. One thing that can be an issue with any knife is the screws can loosen and get lost. I recommend, as I do with all of my knives, that you get some Blue loctite and apply to all screw threads. It is important to use blue because it secures the screws, but still allows them to be removed if needed. The amazon link is below. You will also need a Torx driver set. I recommend the Home Depot SKU# 165355 -Husky 6-Piece Torx Screwdriver Set Model #74502 -Bits include T4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 15. It is $5.97 on Home Depots Website. It is the same set sold on amazon for $16 under the title, "Husky 8 in 1 Torx Screwdriver Set". This knife needs a T6 bit. There are models TF-369 and a TF-370 knifes that looks at quick glance like this TF-368. The are all about the same price, but this is a far superior knife in every way. The clear givaway is the finger scallops that are not on the other two. Thanks for reading. I hope someone finds my review helpful in making a buying decision.- - -> Permatex 24200 Medium Strength Threadlocker Blue, 6 ml______________________________________________________________________________________
