comfortable and good fit. did not want the thumb hole style. only issue is the label just says "made with kevlar"; it doesn't what percentage is kevlar or what other materials were used. hope it reduces the nicks and scratches! dog and cat test will tell the tale.

I just got these delivered, immediately put one on, and carried a macaw parrot from the house to the aviary and was so tickled it didn't hurt! I have two macaws I take in and out every day during the summer months. They sit on my arm for the trip and their sharp nails always leave marks and is painful. One edges up to my hand. These sleeves take care of the problem. The 18 inches one goes just past my elbow which is a bit much more than I needed. The sleeves are snug, but yet rollable and comfortable. My parrots don't bite so I can't attest to that, but for those sharp nails of theirs, these sleeves are perfect!I only wish I'd known about these sleeves years ago.

there are 2 large dogs in the house and they put their paw on my arm and because of my thin skin, it tears and bleeds. my arms look like a battlefield survivor. i also get these cuts if i come into contact with heavy paper or cardboard. all the other protections wanted to go up to almost my armpit which i didn't need and was uncomfortable - i tried them. these were the only protection covers for just my forearm that i could find and they are just wonderful!!!!!

I work in a busy kitchen . I keep burning my arm from sheet pans and oven doors. Since I started wearing these sleeves I have not had a single burn. I remove them when I am done cooking to keep them from getting dirty. Love them

That said, these are very cheap protection for many reasons. Possible blade injuries, grilling burns, hedge trimming, weed whacking, forging, carpentry, etc. A must for any competitive shooter, youth, female or males at the range. Will protect your forearms from hot brass being ejected, shell shavings, accidental barrel contact and much more. Great for LONG RANGE SHOOTERS where the ammo and barrels combine to generate tremendous heat. Not only for your forearms but have had a couple of folks I know use by covering their barrels (Use Personal Caution) to prevent heat waves distorting their sight image. For the price this is some of the cheapest protection you can buy.

Soft feeling but really small/short for large limbs

I bought the sleeve to protect my arms while using my mini chain saw cutting the dead wood out of my hedges and shrubs ...would be nice if the outside of the sleeves were covered in nylon....I spent a long time picking the burrs off my sleeves.... but I love them

I purchased these sleeves to reduce scratches to my arms from clients. I groom dogs and am constantly having sharp claws scrape down my arms causing them to be red and sore. Everything is good. I just wish they were a little thinner and perhaps a lighter feeling material and different colour ( i understand if it is the nature of the safety material)

This is great the only downside is it gets dirty so easily especially with the color. When wash it turns into a darker yellow.

I'm always nicking myself at work, these are great for preventing those booboos
