The Glow Company Light Up Flashing Fibre Optic Torch Wand (12 Pack)

Ordered these for our young children to play with on bonfire night.They worked really well and stood up to hours of play. Some of the settings are really pretty.Some of them are also extremely bright and intense, which in a dark field feels very unsettling after a few minutes.The build quality doesn’t feel brilliant but they’re nice enough, have worked so far, and were a good alternative to fireworks for us. They made the children’s nights.

I bought a 6 pack of these for my husbands nephew who has just been diagnosed with autism but I decided to keep 2 for my nieces 7 month old baby boy who I look after a few days a week. They have been a huge hit with both the 5 year old and the baby and in fact they are the most played with item the baby has and believe me he has lots of toys to play with. However notice I didn’t call them a toy, the reason being is because the fibre optics do come out so they are technically not for babies or small children but the baby loves them so much if I put them in a row with several other toys he would pick the fibre optics up straight away even if they weren’t on! I’m quite surprised at how he really feels the fibres and studies the lights when he runs them through his fingers he’s really taken with them. I don’t ever leave him with them and I check for fallen or loose fibres when he has them just in case but as I said they technically aren’t for babies so if anyone does buy them for babies or small children it’s something to consider, other than that they’ve been used every time the baby comes, I’ve had them for months and he still picks them above the toys I put in front of him so they’ve been well worth the money.

Unfortunately, this product did not work. Very disappointed child. We bought it early as it was a present and so we missed the window to return.

Good lighting and battery life but my baby pulled out alot of the heads straight away. If you hold at the wrong end, the stringy bits easily come out so never leave alone with child!

Bought for my baby son as a light sensory toy, it came quickly and he absolutely loves it!

As described by the glow company. Highly entertaining for little ones. Used as an adjunct to music to aid sensory development in my 6 months old with the bright colours and wand bristles. Great stimulus to encourage rolling over if positioned in the right place but I DO NOT let my baby handle it at all as the fibre optic wires can come loose.
