This holster.....
This is a very comfortable pancake style leather holster. It fits the Tisas 1911A1 45ACP perfectly. The leather is soft on the inside so it won't harm the finish. The value is excellent and I would rank it up there with the top of the line leather holsters out there. It hugs the hip tightly making it easier to conceal. Very nice quality and a very nice appearance. It has fair retention. Could hold a little tighter but, it's good.

Good holster
Pretty good holster. Fits well, stitched well and fits my .45 well. Good deal for occasional use and priced right.

I followed all of the instructions relating keeping the firearm in the holster for 8-10 hrs for molding/bonding or pairing issues. The ad says after that the holster would not collapse. It does, even after several hours of use. They claim they use only the high(est) quality calf skin in thier product. The leather is thinner than a normal conceal carry holster and the interior, body side is shreading, needing to be trimmed in order to keep the frayed leather from affecting the slide function. Also the interior protective flap had to be trimmed and modified as it kept deactivating the thumb safety upon holstering the firearm.

The leather is not as heavy as I had expected it to be.
The holster is made of a rather thin leather, thus it is a bit on the flimsy side. Would prefer it to be made of heavier thicker / stiffer leather for support and durability. This holster is adequate for occasional use, but don’t think it will hold up over time.
