Great fishing rod, Been using it for a bit, and it has taken weights up to 35 pounds. It arrived on time and with perfect quality. Ive taken it saltwater and freshwater fishing. Caught with it all times. The sensitivity is great, yet it doesn't bend too much when under real stress. This is the perfect rod for beginners.

I have several of these rods for fishing offshore and near shore. I love the design on the eyes as it is a struggle to get a long life off of most rods as the salt eventually gets to the guides regardless of how well you rinse them. These hold up and the rod is very durable as well.

One of the best “budget” rods out there. The bad reviews you see are usually due to shipping issues and are resolved. Strong and durable for its size. Sensitive enough to feel a bite. Not too heavy you can’t cast.

Used it 5 times in 3 months. Broke while reeling in an 18 lb red snapper. (Broke before the fish made it to the surface.

Es una vara economica que trabaja muy bien ya que en ningún momento se siente fragil, el agarre como en toda Penn es bueno, tuve capturas de 8lb aproximadamente en las cuales respondió perfectamente
