The Dehumidifier works well, fill in 2000ml within a week which is a really helpful to eliminate that moisture so not to create mould on the furniture and bookshelves. However I find the noise level not very comfortable so have to switch it off when doing meditation or healing in the living room. But understand that the motor would make some noise in order to do the job, which is unavoidable (I guess in this price range). The noise is not disturbing at all during everyday normal activities, talking or with TV on.The size of container is very good, compared to a smaller one I have in the kitchen and the auto-switching off function combined with change of light (from green to yellow) is really helpful and easy to maintain.I would recommend the product.

The unit is small enough and quiet enough to use in most locations. The noise level is higher than suggested in the description, so you may need to turn it off if it is being used in a bedroom with a light sleeper. Otherwise it is efficient and effective.

Love it. I keep it below my washing when I have to dry inside and it's got great power. Clothes dry quicker and it keeps wet windows away. Works perfectly for me. I empty it once a week as its full by then. Easy to empty and clean. To move to a different room you just unplug and move. It's light weight too. I can hear my other dehumidifier but this one, you don't even know its on. REALLY, it's that quiet.

Not a bad little dehumidifier that works reasonably well to keep a built-in cupboard dry.However a common design flaw on these units is the very delicate and fragile trembler switch behind the water tank, which allows the unit to switch on when the tank is in place, and cuts out the unit if the water tank is full. You have to be very careful when removing/replacing the tank as if this switch is damaged, the unit won't work at all.

This was great until it just completely stopped working (it will not turn on) and despite troubleshooting and attempting to follow the link to the support website (which comes up as unsafe to visit on my web browser, so I can't go on to it) nothing is working.

I bought this item as the condensation by the window used to be so bad I left a towel on the stool and drain it almost once a week. The mould that spread because of this used to be quite bad as well.But now I bought this, to my surprise it completely wiped out the condensation and the mould is so minimal I barely have to deal with it. It’s a rare occurrence to have something you bought work better than you expected.I keep this on almost all day non stop and just have to empty the 2000ml tank about once every ten days.Absolutely worth the purchase! Just checked when I bought this to review this item and its actually been about 6 months since I purchased this and have had no problem at all whatsoever.Also had a look at the price I bought this for its £79 so it’s a bit pricey but once bought as I said works better than expected and can be kept on for more than 6 months without any problem so I think you could say this is definitely a tough model.

Picked this model dehumidifier for my small studio apartment after comparing manufacturers' details on energy use; if the manufacturer's information is correct, this one was the lowest energy-using dehumidifier available at the time of purchase.It's not the quietest dehumidifier, I imagine, but you get used to the hum/hiss. Thankfully it is very easy-to-use and light-weight, even when the water-tank is full; so emptying the thank is an easy task. It's also very easy to keep the unit itself clean.I'm using this in combination with a room thermometer and hygrometer to ensure the room temperature never drops below 15ºC and maintain humidity levels of 50-60%; once that level was achieved the first time around (which initially took 1-2 weeks) I cleaned all mould and mildew in the flat and none have come back since (whereas before I had the dehumidifier it would always come back).EDIT: 4 years on, it packed up and I replaced it with the exact same make and model, which turned out to be... louder? Strange...

About this product in 2020 and it works like a charm absolutely love it for small spaces.

Works well and very happy with the purchase

I bought it to use it in my butler's pantry as I was finding mould growing on my pots and pans stored in there. It did absorb some moisture over a short period of time however I have yet to try it when it has been raining for days. Noise level is not too bad but is noticeable when quiet. For the price, it does the job.

Love their non-obtrusive size, quiet operation, total easy of emptying, handsome appearance AND esp. the way my house feels—so that I don’t feel all hot & irritated with a muggy inside!! Have a different teeny tiny unit in the laundry closet, with 2 of these in our large master bedroom/bath area, with another one sits in the back hallway by bathroom & that laundry area, as well as one that we just added to our large busy kitchen. The 5th Hysure unit will be added to the TV room that connects to the open kitchen to fine tune our beastly summer humidity levels. Now our house air doesn’t have to run all the time on 77 as long as these little babies & all of the ceiling fans are all goingto help circulate & dry up the air!

Our house used to remain mostly packed throughout the day due to our daily commute to work, leaving it unattended on weekdays. This situation resulted in a moist environment upon our return home. Our feet often felt damp, and the room had a lingering scent reminiscent of damp wooden furniture. Although we didn't have any noticeable Odor, the dampness was evident.However, since we started using the Hysure Dehumidifier, our home is now free from moisture. We run the device for four hours on alternate days, and the environment around us is no longer damp.The only caveat is that the device requires a proper outlet for removing water from the collector. I handle this in a careful manner to prevent any spillage on the floor due to potential leakage.I loved the product.
