I picked this up for an extra portable cooler for a festival I attended. This was a way for us to keep most of our cold foods at our camp site but still bring drinks to an area where we met up with friends. After one weekend of use, I was impressed. The bag did not leak unless tipped over, but it took a while of laying on its’ side before we noticed a wet zipper area. Drinks were kept appropriately cold. We did fill it with a bag of ice daily to replenish what had melted & dumped out the water in the bag. It held a lot of cans: we had at least a 12 pack of beer & a 12 back of seltzers and still had plenty of room for some water bottles. This will be great for beach trips & our next camping adventure!

Purchased for my husband for Father's Day. It is larger than we expected and seems to hold everything that he needs. We have only used it with ice packs so far, not actual ice, but it seems to keep everything cold throughout the day. He really liked the removable flag patch and the upper zip area for additional items. He says that he might also order the smaller size for the times that it is used for just him and not our whole family. The only slight negative was that it was delivered in a clear see through bag, so he saw it before Father's Day. Not a big deal, but might be good to know if it is a gift.

Bought this on June 21st for a 4th of July beach week.I'll give it 1 star for delivery but that is where the positives end.It sat in my house for a week waiting to be used. I got to the beach on June 29th. Loaded the cooler with drinks and ice and started walking to the beach.Immediately felt something cold and wet on my back. Surely it couldn't be from my brand new back pack cooler. I looked up to see if water was dropping on me from a tree. Nope..dry as can be so I kept walking.Got to the beach, set the cooler down and began my vacation. At the end of the day I picked it up and put on my back. The sand was wet under the bag. No way my brand new backpack cooler could cause that. One of the kids must have spilt their water.Get back to the room and start unloading the remaining drinks. Soon as I got them out and dumped the ice in the sink I Immediately saw a huge rip in the inner liner.. pictures included. Luckily I still have a week on my return.Normally I would give the product the benefit of doubt and assume I had bad luck. I would send back and wait for a new one.Unfortunately the beach season is over so if I order a replacement, I wouldn't use it for almost a year.Sending this thing back for a full refund.

I love the bag has tons of pockets for extra little things. The inside cooler part is large. I can put liter bottles in it. No problem. I work in a hot factory, so I just put ice in my bag and it holds the water doesn’t leak. The only downfall I would say the bag doesn’t like to stand up. There’s no stability to it. but for the price, and holding the ice and water. It’s worth it.

We boat and camp a lot and we needed something that is also packable for an airplane. This bag is better than expected! It has tons of pockets for miscellaneous stuff so that I don’t need to bring multiple bags with me to store phone, sunscreen, etc. it did not leak through the bottom but I think it could still leak through the top if it’s tipped over but that’s not a deal breaker given all the pockets that make up for that small flaw. You just have to be mindful not to bend over if you’re wearing it. All in all this bag works for our outdoorsy lifestyle and for the price I’ll probably get more as gifts this Christmas.

I probably packed his backpack heavier than recommended. I could barely even find the seams inside. Definitely 100% waterproof. And the frozen water bottles at the bottom of the backpack were still halfway frozen when we got home from camping 40 hours later (without adding any ice). We were in moderate weather, about 68°. I will write another review if I can when I put it to the test in hot weather this weekend. The only thing that I wish it had was a hip support strap. I don’t usually go far with a cooler, so it’s no big deal, but if we were going to take this on a hike with a pack this full, a hip support would’ve been ideal. There is a sort of hidden zipper compartment where the backpack touches your lower back. I thought that was a really cool feature and was happy to put my wallet there. Also, there were a lot of places to put carabiners on which I didn’t do on this trip, but I will definitely do in future ones. I use the stretchy straps on the outside to put the picnic blanket, but I could really see myself using that in the future for things like towels or jackets. It was really handy. And lastly, the backpack looks really nice. It’s a great color and just appears to be very sturdy and well-made. I’m really impressed so far! My husband is a really big guy backpacks sometimes look kind of funny on him, but this backpack fit easily and worked well functionally and aesthetically for both him and I.

I bought this backpack for groceries. I've found that walking a mile to my neighborhood grocery store and back is actually faster than getting in my car and driving. This thing is huge. I can fit three 7-lb bags of ice and still zip it shut. It's heavy when fully loaded, but feels strong and sturdy like it's built for that amount of weight. I notice the main compartment is tricky to zip closed because of all the insulation, you definitely need two hands. But I'm fine with it. Importantly, this model is available in WHITE, which is the only color that makes sense if you have to go a long distance in the hot sun.

This bag is a good price for what you get. It is definitely a bit wider than a standard backpack and has a large capacity, so it is probably more suited for big day trips to Disney/a beach/hiking/ rather than to take a few drinks to a soccer game or something. Zippers and shoulder straps seem robust and it is comfy to wear even when full. Loads of good pockets also make it ideal as an oversized diaper bag if you need to pack everything that an infant or toddler needs for a full day away from home.
