Very handy
Use them to mount a Canon M50 on various stands and tripods in the shop. Very quick to mount and dismount and quite secure. Will buy more for camera light mounting

Not compatible with peak design
Although it appears to be the same size and shape the tolerance is slightly too small to fit a peak design plate onto the latch.

This item is perfect! I mount a selfie stick to it and my 360 camera on top, and now I can disconnect it when I'm doing off-bike filming and still use the selfie stick. HUGE TIME-SAVER!!!

Product update!
This could have been one of the greatest camera releases ever however it can't hold weight at all. Do not trust it! I put my Fuji xt4 on it with a large lens and it cannot hold the way at all which is not heavy compared to your full frame cameras. I will not use the garbage again after my camera fell to the ground and almost broke a $2,000 lens. It's not worth it.

It works!
That is exactly what I need for my S5iiX camera. I have yet to use it in a more modern tripod. Though, it works well in the old tripod mounting system. Has a metal construction and doesn't feel cheap at all. Neewer is doing great things.

Bubble envelope never sealed and item was missing.
Called Neewer. Erin said to send a copy or screenshot of invoice which I did. Still waiting to hear from Erin.On11/7/23 I received an envelope that was partially opened and item was missing again. I emailed Erin again. I received the item (a C009) in a box in less than 24 hours this time with no sign of tampering. It will be perfect for my needs. I will definitely shop Neewer again. Thank you Erin for your help.

Doen't fit other "Arca Swiss" plates.
I ought this because I thought there was some kind of Arca standard. Apparently there isn't. You're better off finding a brand that has all the mounts and plates you like Best and sticking with it trying to find something that conforms across brands worthless. Total waste of time and money.

Very well made and engineered. “Instructions” for use laughably microscopic and written in fluent IKEA. But common sense wins out. Recommended.
