First time getting a dehumidifier. I have aquariums making my house humid. This thing is a beast. Collects so much water. And its super quiet. Quieter than my air purifier. This was for sure a good buy.

The Lienuis 25-pint dehumidifier is a reasonably quiet, efficient, and cost-effective way to reduce relative humidity indoors. I use it primarily to reduce RH in a room where I store and use guitars. The Pacific NW USA is a rainy place most of the year, and the humidity in my house frequently exceeds 70%. Guitars are happiest around 50%. The Lienuis dehumidifier reduced the RH in my guitar from from 72% to 55% in under two hours. Your results may vary depending on square footage, initial humidity, furnishings, carpeting, and temperature. The unit has been operating flawlessly for a week.My sole caveat: the humidity sensor on the Lienuis unit tends to read 5-10 percentage points higher than digital hygrometers in the room. So, if your target room humidity is 55%, set the Lienuis controls to 65%, or 60%. This is an easy workaround and doesn't impact the machine's ease of use or efficiency at all.Overall a reasonably priced and surprisingly effective humidity solution.

Bought to dehumidify sons apartment, windows were getting severe moisture and mold/ had for approximately 2 months now and made a big difference. It’s quiet and small enough for a bedroom, only downfall is tank fills up quick other than that works great

This product works so well that we moved it every 2 days to another room does it's job well..again 100% worth it.

This product is essentially useless. DO NOT BUY!! It significantly failed to live up to promised standards.This product is supposed to remove 25 pints of moisture from the air (which isn't that much) in 24 hours. In two different tests - first it removed approximately 7 pints, the next test approximately 8. According to the machine - both these rooms stayed in the upper 70% humidity throughout. I set it to achieve 35% humidity. My air conditioner removed 4 gallons (32 pints) of moisture in the same time frame of the first test.I am very unhappy that it does not live up to the effectiveness promised.This device never stops running and draws two amps.The little cheap hose they send with it - is kinky and difficult to straighten out. I had to set the humidifier on a tall table and let the hose drain straight down to be effective (with a slight weight on it).I wish I could say better, but , , , , , - DO NOT BUY!!.

Says it's listed for large room, basement & so on. Pulls 25 pints in 24 hours? The tank on it is half a gallon. Takes around 2 days nonstop running to pull water out if the air in a basement that recently had a flood. It's git a bunch of digital settings that are rater complicated to work. Even after reading the instructions. You keep it on auto. It's supposed to determine the humidity in the air & adjust accordingly. So naturally it says the humidity is high. Like 90% to start with. And if left to it's own devices it will quickly think the humidity has lowered to like 30..whicb can't be right. The carpet is still wet from the flood. I've owned several other nice dehumidifiers. Unfortunately they no longer work properly. So I thought this would be a good cheaper option. It has a hose to drain in a bucket. But it's a gravity drain. And the hose maybe a foot off the ground. I was thinking of draining into a 5 gallon bucket. But in order to do that you have to elevate the dehumidifier several feet off the ground. But it doesn't matter because it would probably take several weeks to fill up 5 gallons. No need to even bother. Just use the half gallon one & chesk it every 2 days or so. It does work, but not great.

This dehumidifier works pretty well. I have it located in my laundry room as i like to air dry clothes. It helps to speed up the drying time process, and it keeps the humidity level low in my laundry room. This size would not be adequate for a large room, or for a whole house, but it does work well for a small room. I like the fact that it has, a storage compartment for water if you want to move it to another room where you cannot drain it, or you can attach the hose and drain it directly into a sink. I recommend this product.
