Does its job!
Reassuring know we are getting a bit of air into the water for the gold fish in the stock troughs. Especially in the TX heat. And so nice to not have to worry about stretching out an extension cord.

Ok for the money
PROS: cheap, battery backupCons: it is difficult to have the air stones both work unless they are very close to each other. Sometimes these units make an annoying noise - I’m not sure why. The cheaper unit (smaller solar panel) will sometimes just not work even when in full sunlight.

Highly recommend
Still working after being frozen solid this winter.

So..so
If you’re just looking for a quick couple of quick bubbles, it does the trick. Return the first one because one of the two bubblers wasn’t working the second one one of the two bubblers isn’t working at this point I’m over it so going to use it to keep a couple official alive no big deal but not the greatest.

Good Price, but Be Sure You Can Use It.
This would be a fine, modestly-priced aerator for an indoor aquarium or deep, clean patio pond. The solar panel and pump controls are great for the price, but it's not right for backyard ponds or natural settings. Here's why:First, in order to work, the airstones must drop straight down (not too deep), and not touch the bottom of the pond. (Bottom of an aquarium would probably be fine.) If they go to the bottom, they very quickly become clogged with muck or algae. (The instructions say to remove and clean the airstones about once a week, but I like lower-maintenance installations.)Second, STRAIGHT down is very hard unless you're simply dealing with an aquarium. One needs an edge, such as an aquarium rim or something from which to hang the tubes with the airstones, OR a float from which they can hang (not included, of course), leaving the non-submersible pump on the shore. Otherwise, the stones just go to the bottom and get clogged.I created a float, then had to create a way to affix the tubing to bottom of the the float, then had to figure out a way to keep the float from drifting into shallow water and dragging the airstones on the bottom. Kind of a fun challenge, but not everyone wants to go through that.Bottom line was that the kluge bubbled merrily in my natural, fairly warm pond for a few hours, then the airstones clogged with algae (from the water itself, not the bottom), the pump pressure rose and the tube blew off the pump. Not worth the trouble to fix it, I'm afraid.Just a long-winded explanation and suggestion to use this inexpensive system in your indoor aquarium or deep balcony pond, not your yard or garden.

Easy setup works great
Use these to aerate a pool my fish spawned in now it’s overcrowdedFountain pump is more sensitive to lack of sun but air pump runs fairly well under clouds

Works well except for...
When the bubbler is working it works very well and the solar panel seems to keep it charged even into the night sometimes. The main problem is you constantly have to cut off a little piece of the hose because it stops working at the point of the hose in the pump. Also the bubblers have to be cleaned off which I have never experienced with aerating stones before. I still like it

Perfect
This seems like an awesome pump for a small pond . I keep my little pond cleaned and use natural algee eliminator , unit has some weight seems well made , power line and air hose are both long , I'm only using one stone , and it it working great ! Now I just need to make a small pump house to keep it out of the rain . I recommend this pump for small ponds or water feature. My pond is around 25 gallons and concrete . If you have a large natural pond you're going to need a larger pump.
