This wheel lock does exactly what you want it to, and is easy to use. I purchased this as an easy way to completely immobilize a car. I have a family member with dementia and needed to remove the ability to drive for a time while we got help for her, this device was a lifesaver in my opinion, literally. It is also good for security, nobody is going to even approach a car with this highly visible wheel lock. Also a great value for the price, its is very solid and well made. I would highly recommend this product 👍🏼

Super sturdy wheel lock! Really easy to use, not too heavy, comes with 2 keys! Color is nice and bright and works great!

I like that the tire lock holds my RV tire, covering the lug nuts and giving it extra protection. It was easy to assemble and install. However the crank seems fairly flimsy. It doesn’t stay in position very well. When I removed the mechanism from my tire I had some trouble getting off my tire. But, I was successful. Hope I lasts a while.

I needed some way to keep my boat trailer secure and found this device and it works perfectly. I leave my boat at campsites when we go on overnight fishing trips and always had someone stay back at camp to watch the boat if we needed to go to town to run errands or pickup anything and it was always such a hassle. So I needed a way to lock the trailer somehow and also a way to prevent the boat from rolling if someone did hook up chains to the trailer coupler somehow. So this solved that problem and prevents the boat trailer from rolling at all. It's also pretty heavy duty also unless someone had a cordless angle grinder but it would be loud and everyone at camp would hear it anyways so that solved that. Also at night when we're sleeping it makes it much better to unhook the boat so we could use the truck for traveling to other campsites to visit friends or family camping at other campsites by the lake. So anyways, this works great and I also use it at home when I need to leave my boat outside in my driveway during the fishing season, I chain up the folding tongue and also use this wheel lock on one of the trailer wheels and so now a thief would have to cut the chain and cut this off as well making a loud racket that'll wake up me, my dog, or the neighbors, so it's perfect!

As another reviewer has described eloquently and with photos, the tightening mechanism on this device has a bolt that is too long and breaks it's own wall and pushes it toward the tire before the lug nut cover arm is fully tightened. That is for my trailer’s slightly smaller tires. So for me this thing became mostly a visual deterrent. It a noticeable visual deterrent but for this much money I'd expect a device that doesn't break itself when you are trying to tighten it normally on a trailer tire. Even at the maximal tightness there is a ton of play on the lug nut cover disc. It is an effective visual deterrent though. Very noticeable. Also the company noticed my comment here and sought out feedback so by the time you read this maybe they’ve made improvements.

I originally purchased the one on the left. When I got it I realized when I installed it, it did not lock the disc that covers the wheel lug nuts. Once installed you could easily just unscrew the arm, loosen the disc, unbolt and remove the wheel. I returned it and purchased this one (one on right). It has two lock; one for the wheel and one for the lug nuts. Once you tighten them up, you close the small doors and lock them. This provides additional security by locking both the wheel and the lug nuts. Also the one one the right appears to be heavier gauged metal but not by much. Disadvantage is the the one on the right cost about as much as purchasing two of the ones on the left.

They didn’t fit the vehicle I purchased them for or the key lived or unlocked made no difference I was able to pull them off the tire without turning the key in either direction. It gets a 1 star rating because the return was easy and refund quick
