My 2.5 year old grandson really enjoyed this. He could name the colors, count the beads and improve his dexterity with the wand. The ice cream theme was fun - naming flavors, etc and the beads look like “dipping dots” we had at the zoo. This is actually addicting for adults too as we all wanted a turn putting the beads in the correct places. It was on the floor a few times and was stepped on, etc. and seems very sturdy. Recommend

It’s a good product and fun game, but remember that kids need to keep it upright for it to work well. Laying it flat will have the magnetic balls rolling everywhere.

Cute, fun sorting game for toddler. Magnet is a little weak and she tends to get frustrated, but it has helped with patience, if nothing else. Colors are nice, super safe product. Good size and travel friendly.

I purchased 3 of these for Christmas presents for ages 2-6 years old. The gifts were a big hit! The different kinds available are super cute for boys and girls. As an educator I love all of the different ways this can be used for learning; from fine motor skills, counting, and naming and sorting by color, just to name a few! I even came back and ordered another for a 16 month old. It’s great and easy to use in the car too, when you do not want any more iPad time, and it’s very functional because you can’t lose any pieces and perfect size to hold in lap. I’m very happy with my purchases and would highly recommend.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old as a toy but also a tool to help calm her down when she has big feelings. She enjoys playing with it, however, the magnet on the pen isn't very strong, so you have to hold the it just right for it to work properly. At first she struggled quite a bit and it was frustrating, but now she's got it down. The other negative is once you have all the beads placed where they need to go, you can't just flip it and put them all back in the bottom. You can get some of the beads down that way, but the rest you have to sit and slide over with the pen or they get all jammed up.In short, I don't know that I would purchase this item again. I might look into other brands that function a little more easily and cause less frustration for my littles.

Great for working on pencil holding and fine motor skills for preschool age children. It’s durable and easy to use.
