Ethical Bean Fairtrade Organic Sweet Espresso Medium Dark Roast Ground Espresso Coffee (8 oz Bag)

Love the Sweet Espresso so much I subscribed to get it every three weeks. I'm an fan of espresso... just straight espresso. I brew this using an Italian moka, and it is absolutely delicious. It's not actually "sweet;" it has the full espresso flavor but not bitter in the slightest. I know what I like, and I admit that that might make me a bit of a coffee/espresso snob; however, I don't know all the hip coffee lingo. If you like espresso, you'll love this. If you like Starbuck's espresso, you probably won't like this. It doesn't taste over-roasted like Starbucks. Smooth with a slight bite and with a slight tang at the end -- that's the best way I can explain it.And I'm happy to pay a bit more than many other espresso beans because it is both FTC and organic.

This coffee is too finely ground. Almost a flour like consistency. My Breville expresso machine first refused to deal with it and on later tries reluctantly complied only when I gently tapped the tamper versus the usual force for tamping. By the time I figured out the right combination of tamp and water flow I had wasted half the bag. EVENTUALLY I succeeded in extracting a decent shot. It tasted good but lesson learned ordering pre ground coffee is not a good idea at all.

Loved everything about this coffee/brand. The story behind it is beautiful, and is honestly the main reason i went with this brand of CB. The flavor is smooth and delicious. I dont like bitter coffee, and this definitely did not disappoint. 👌 the price is also amazing. I stand behind everything this company is doing and will continue to support them throughout my life. Thank you for your services/product. This coffee is becomming one of my go-to's.

I have a DeLonghi espresso machine. I read a lot of reviews that it was ground too fine, but decided to take a chance. No matter if I tamped it down or left it loose, the machine could not make shots. I can't say if it tastes good, because I can't even brew it. What a disappointment!

The grind is too fine for my DeLonghi machine. Clogged it so nothing would come out.

The only description from the bag is the "chocolate milk" flavor notes , I would prefer a tierra Mia coffee if not so expensive .

Came with a hole (under the VE). No way to return or replace. Guess I’ll just buy some at the store locally to avoid these shenanigans

This is the best Espresso on the market in my opinion. It is not acidic (sensitive to my gut) and always tastes fresh. The whole beans of the sweet espresso may be ground to use in regular coffee maker and makes the best cup of coffee no matter what kind of coffee you are making be it a latte, capp, mocha, americano or just a regular cup of coffee. Wonderful colour, aroma and flavor.

I tried multiple times to brew a nice espresso with some good crema but this stuff clogs up my machine. No matter how much or little I tamper (even not at all) it it still won’t go through and then ends up spitting all over when I try and take it out since so much water is backed up. I can’t find any options to contact the company and ask for a refund and they don’t allow returns.

Un café un peu trop faible que prévu. Je connais bien cette marque donc, j'ai décidé de l'essayer. Il ne fait pas l'unanimité chez les invités. Donc, il ne sera probablement plus dans mes choix. Pas mauvais certain,mais pas le meilleur de cette marque!

Wow! This is a fantastic coffee to make. I currently put it in a manual K-Pod and it is phenomenal. I can't wait to try it with my press this week.I highly recommend everyone at least try this out if you're planning to make a mocha or latte at home.

I can’t use it in my Breville espresso maker. The grind isn’t right and it causes water pooling - it can’t go through. Smells and tastes great in my bodum though!
