Better and cheaper than the competition
This kettle is substantially better, and also less money, than competition from Bonavita and Cusineart, etc. And just as good as the fancy, much more expensive high-brow barista brands (Fellows etc). I also have Greater Goods' coffee scale and could say exactly the same. This company is doing "high-end" products at "consumer-grade" pricing and I'd like to send them a big hug. The dial is very intuitive and allows rapidly setting any temp you want. No repeat button pushes or fixed presets. The *sound* is a very gentle unassuming beep and can even be turned off. My former Cuisinart kettle sounded like one of those ear-piercing smoke detector beeps - extremely jarring, to the point of genuine anxiety-inducing if you're sensitive to sound, and could not be turned off or down. Plus it had only preset temps, and stupidly boiled off instead of shutting off because I live at a higher altitude, I presume. My cuisinart also sprayed hot steam towards my fingers and I had to hold the handle down low not to be burned. And yet, it was significantly more expensive than this Greater Goods kettle. I also like the small footprint of the base, the thoughtful depression for the thumb on the handle for pouring control. It has been designed carefully, by people who clearly actually use and love the product unlike those big box store consumer brands.

Great everyday kettle at a fair price
This is a great little kettle for everyday use. I use it regularly for coffee and tea, and it’s also handy when I need to heat water quickly for cooking. The design is clean and modern, the temperature controls are easy to use, and it heats up fast. The price feels very reasonable for the quality. I’ve had it for about a year now and it’s been reliable and satisfying to use, no complaints so far.

Great value!
Works well, looks good, and most of all, great price! I’ve purchased and returned so many kettles but this one I decided to keep. I like the clean look but still has options for keep warm and unit preference. The only thing I wish is for it to not heat up again when I put the empty kettle back after pouring. This happens even keep warm option is off. Seems like it could be a safety risk although it “should” turn off when it reaches set temp again. It would also be nice if it remembers the setting when it’s unplugged.

Powerful and Multifunctional, but has a sticking point or two
Overall, this kettle has been a game changer for making coffee. It's impeccably useful for controlling the flow rate when pouring a v60. By holding the button, you can start a timer that gives you a "3-2-1" countdown before becoming a stopwatch. It has a lot of tiny design features that puts it as a high quality budget option for a temp-controlled gooseneck kettle. Heating is relatively fast and if you can't prep your coffee bed before it finishes, the kettle has a hold mode. The aesthetic of a single dial, single button kettle holds it's own. It's minimalist, sleek, and not frustrating to use nor set up. The kettle has some downsides for me, though. For context, my kettle is set to hold for 10 minutes right now. Say, I set it to a boil at 100°C. After that, I use the fresh off the boil water to preheat a device. Then I set the kettle to go down to 93°C. The kettle will beep and say it's at 93°C, rather than show you the temperature of the water inside the kettle, which is probably still at 100°C. Visually, it sometimes won't differentiate between the goal temperature and the current temperature, even though it definitely has that capability. Another little sticking point, every time you unplug the kettle base, you have to redo the settings. It's not too hard to do, but it's still worth mentioning. Thankfully, there aren't so many settings that it would force me to keep a dedicated outlet, (Just 3, hold mode duration, toggle beep, unit F or C), but the settings menu is probably the worst part of the UI. Like, if everything else was a 9 out of 10, the settings menu is an 8 out of 10. It's simplistic and well designed, but just slightly less satisfying to use.

Delightful Kettle
This kettle is lovely. Like many folks I was initially impressed with the careful, non-plastic, recyclable paper packaging it shipped in, other than a couple of protective slip covers for the kettle and base, which (at least) have the consistency of tiny biodegradable garbage bags. The warranty is front and center with the delightful, easily readable, stitched user manual about the size of a small Field Notes pad. The kettle is everything my old cranky Bonavita wasn't. It's simpler, intuitive, faster, can actually hold water at a consistent temperature, and no plastic touches the water. The real test will be longevity. Can it outlast the 7 years I got from the Bonavita? Hard to say, but I treat my kitchen tools with respect and care, so we will see. The Morning Bloom kettle is an amazing product and I am happy with its initial quality. I bought it over exceedingly overpriced kettles at a fair price. My detailed research indicates that there is not a lock on better quality or materials and construction for overpriced brands, so their extravagant pricing is unjustified, unless you want a name, or particular design. Lastly, beyond heating accuracy, the Morning Bloom is well balanced, pours like a dream, as fast or as slow as needed, without the inconsistent dribbles the Bonavita gave out when pouring slowly. If this is your first, second, or even third kettle, prepare to be spoiled and enjoy perfectly brewed coffee pour-overs and teas.

Favorite appliance
It’s so useful. Even for watering plants or refilling the coffee machine. Heats pretty quickly, clean, accurate, looks nice in the counter.
