As described
Good quality and comfortable, the price was competitive too. You can’t go wrong with a brooks saddle and it looks good on my Brompton.

Comfortable
I'm a 110 kg and 6' 2" tall male and ride an aluminium gravel bike. After >100 miles (not all in one day!) this saddle is comfortable. That's all I wanted, and I have it. Thanks

Great saddle
Bought as a direct replacement for an old Brookes C17 saddle that sadly fell apart after much use. I use this on my XC mountain bike and have been in the saddle for 10 hour days - works for me and will keep using 😊😊

Nice saddle
Years ago, I had a Brooks leather saddle and never really got on with it. I found it slippery and it never quite moulded to my shape. However, I liked the quality. I bought the Cambium carved after much soul searching and watching YouTube videos. It is a very nicely made saddle. It is not padded in any way, but is designed to flex and support you a bit like a small hammock. The wide back part is quite hard and the front part is quite flexible. Positioning it is critical, as with any saddle. Last weekend, I rode 50 miles one day on it in strong headwinds, and I was good for another 25 mile blast the next day. Of course, there is some discomfort because we weren't made to sit in one position for hours at a time, but it did not cause any lasting pain, aches, or bruising. Glad I bought it.

Comfort from the outset, No breaking In
Comfort from the outset, No breaking In, Even better comfort than a gel saddle. I have just started cycling again after a lot of years, In my early days I had the Original Brook's B series Leather saddle fitted to my bike Wonderfull Saddle after its broken In, But that takes a very long time and miles to do, but then you have a most comfortable Saddle, there is also maintenance to carry out ie use of Brook's leather treatment periodically, Tensioning of the Leather after some time, also keeping it dry or prevent prolonged periods of time in rain. Now This Cambium all weather Saddle is a Totally different Concept, No Breaking In, No Treatment, No tensioning. This Saddle is not leather its made of rubber with an all weather impregnated surface. Comfort is gained by the way this saddle flexes, the principle is like a hammock suspended from the nose of the saddle and from the rear, giving a suspension effect. This saddle model is the C19 and what that means is this model is more for the 90deg upright riding position, I ride slightly less than 90deg but still find this saddle comfortable. If you have a more aggressive riding style, dropped bars etc, then you should go for the Cambium C17 series. To sum up If i was doing a lot of miles each day I would probably have gone for the Original Brook's B series leather saddle, most uncomfortable until you eventually break it in, then you have yourself a very comfortable saddle, which will last for years. I don't do that many miles on a bike anymore and to break a saddle In would have taken far to long hence going for the Cambium, I don't think its as comfortable as a fully broken in Brook's Leather saddle by any means but its not bad either. In my opinion I don't think the Cambium will last as long as the original leather saddle, time will tell. The Original Leather B series Is totally British Made by Brook's, The Cambium Is made by Brook's but In Italy. My suggestion to anyone interested In A Brook's Saddle would be to go to the Brook's web site, Not to Purchase from there because on Amazon they are better priced, but just to check out the range and read all about the differences between there range and see how they are made.

A great all round saddle
I bought this saddle as I started commuting to work and wanted a good quality waterproof alternative to my 'cheap but functional' existing saddle. It has not disappointed. The saddle looks great, the surface is slightly textured which helps to prevent slipping forward, the cut is excellent, providing sufficient seating area in all positions without being intrusive to the inner leg. Unlike the Full Leather Brooks there is no adjustment required and it is not possible to change the tension of the saddle; that said the tension of the saddle is spot on with the saddle both supporting the rider in comfort and smoothly soaking up minor vibration, road noise and potholes. I have no reservations in recommending this product, after several hundred miles it is one of the best saddles I have ever had.

Comfy and no saddle sore!
Even though this saddle is not soft (not padded), it is very comfortable. I does not give me saddle sore and it actually helped me with my back pain which I am very happy about. Another plus is that this saddle flexes a bit, giving some suspension when going over small bumps. All in all an excellent saddle, but it comes at a higher cost.

Not the Brooks usual quality- was sent back due to known issues.
Arrived quickly and looked stunning- fitted easily but within 4 miles of riding my bike started making cracking sounds. Spent several hours tightening up everything including the saddle but nothing stopped the noises- every bump in the road. Finally after reading several comments in cycle forums about Brooks saddles creaking and making cracking sounds I changed the saddle to a cheap Charge one. Silence - nuff said the. Rooks went back. It’s a known problem and.Brooks refuse to sort it and at over £73 I and many others are not prepared to accept flawed and sub standard workmanship. Save your money and avoid this model.

Fantastic saddle for a more upright riding position.
Brooks saddles have a legacy of quality. These cambium (non-leather) saddles are perfect for bikes that might be ridden in the rain. They do not need to be broken in like the leather saddles, and they feel softer and more pliable under use than when first unpacked.Do your sit bones a favor and try one of these out!

Wish I'd had this on my last bicycle tour!
I've run many a saddle on several bikes and on three different bicycle tours. I've even owned a Brooks B67 a few years before this. I'm not a fan of leather saddles after owning it.This however is the Brooks to get if you don't like the maintenance issues with any of the Brooks leather saddles. It's probably the most comfortable saddle I've ridden and I've ridden a number of them. Sure it doesn't have the padding that many saddles do, nor the gel padding that others do. Where this saddle lacks padding it has more flex than others due in part to it being made from vulcanized rubber. Yes, vulcanized rubber. But don't let it fool you. This is a very well made and durable saddle. My only skepticism is that the rubber is vulcanized in Italy since Sele Italia bought Brooks a couple years back. Though the rubber is vulcanized outside of England, I'm assuming the saddle was finished in England. The rivets that hold the rubber on the saddle look as if they were done by Brooks themselves and the quality of the build is top notch as one would expect from Brooks.I've been riding this saddle for a few months now and haven't missed the previous saddle yet. I even rode this during a downpour. Here's were other saddles just don't stand up as they are made from synthetics. And even leather saddles will require maintenance after being in this kind of weather. This saddle took it all in stride and didn't show any signs of problems. Of course being built from vulcanized rubber makes this virtually waterproof. If you have thought about buying a Brooks B17 "Bomber" which is the classic Brooks touring saddle but don't want the maintenance issues that come with it, this is the saddle to buy. Same shape and dimensions as the B17, a little less costly, and a great saddle all around.

Pleasantly Surprised
I am a well muscled 6' 260 lb male with fairly wide sit bones. After a lot of fails to find a comfortable seat for my mountain bike I decided to give one of these a try. I found this seat gave me the stability I want resulting in excellent power transfer but also has the right amount of pliability to conform to my body and eliminate the pressure points I would normally feel. I found a slightly elevated seat nose worked best and the "carved" portion actually worked to eliminate the perineal pressure I would feel with the seat at this angle. I find this perfectly comfortable without biking shorts as well.
