This is a fun toy that looks like it should be on a construction site. Comes with rechargeable batteries that are very unique to this toy. It’s a little more delicate than anticipated but my son loves it so it’s a great value. It makes noise but it’s not too loud.It’s a fun toy to play with since it looks very realistic

This looks so great! The scale detail is top notch! It really looks like a 1/24th scale digger and trailer. The truck is the only thing radio controlled by the way. That is relatively clear in the description, but I sorta hoped it at least had sounds and could drive by itself. For the cost, it makes sense. Full function scale diggers are hundreds of dollars. However, there is a lever on the digger that allows you to play with it and make it dig. It also has tracks that roll and a real rubber tread. They do come off easily, but they also go back on easily. One of the things that I don’t think is a high point is the maneuverability of the truck when the trailer is attached. I know why they made the connection system the way they did because it is simple and strong, but it only pivots like 15 degrees in either direction making it struggle when going in reverse. The plastics are also very hard and stiff which means they are also somewhat brittle. This will break if it is dropped from a good height or is stepped on so be careful. Under normal driving and play, it should last a long time. This is definitely for kids and they will love it. There is a function that plays music and that is my son’s favorite part.

Overall: 4/5Nice design with multiple pieces sure to please any aspiring truck/tractor driver. It doesn’t have the heft of quality which was disappointing on the surface but may ultimately be better/safter for the kid I’m giving this to and his little sister. Only the cab is RC. Everything about the trailer and track hoe/excavator are manual. Full test of the remote will have to come later when the recipient has it in their hands. Presuming they’re 4 of 5 (a good, high-average product) based on what I can see.Quality: 4/5Well made with no noticeable flaws. It’s nice design with lots of detail.Value: 4/5An average value. This toy construction vehicle looks just like the real thing.The remote is easy to use and the charge lasts a while.My only pet peeve about this product is that the batteries go out after a few charges.. meaning I have had to use different batteries.The crane is a nice extra toy. It's crane is functional.

I selected this for my four year old son because he loves construction equipment like most boys his age. This rc semi has a lot of cool things going for it. It is easy enough for my four year old to drive that he loads it up with the toy excavator along with other toys and drive it around he house frequently. The lights are bright and the truck makes cool sounds when you are driving it. The music it can play is a little strange but my son likes it. He is a huge fan of the excavator that is included with this set. The semi and excavator are extremely durable. He has a bad habit of taking rc toys and pushing them around with his hands once the batteries are dead. Despite his best efforts the semi still drives around when it is recharged after a couple of months of daily abuse. The excavator has survived months of digging in my yard and its still going too. Probably the most interesting feature of this truck though is the ability to attach lego style building bocks to the truck bed. This has made this toy even more interesting because it has become a mobile building platform. That has made the possibilities endless with this toy. It is pretty tough based on my experience and being able to build things on it has made it a winner at my house.

I originally order this for my grandson but, quickly, I decided to keep it; sorry grandson. The details is great. Only the rig is radio controlled though. But you can still get in the floor and roll the toy off the trailer and “work”. And it comes with sound too.The quality is good and the batteries have a decent life. I do not, however, feel it is very rugged, so play for indoors only.

This RC big rig and excavator set is seriously cool. It comes with 2 batteries and a charging cord (USB) that needs to be plugged in to a USB charger (not included) to charge the batteries. We used our iPhone charger cube. The batteries appeared fully charged after about 30 minutes as the charging indicator light went away. The remote also takes regular batteries (not included). The truck is super fast! It seemed to work well, but we did have some connectivity issues where either the remote wouldn’t work, or the RC truck lost connection because the truck would just randomly stop driving. It was not consistently like this, but still frustrating with a brand new toy.

I'm impressed with how this truck "looks" ... great detail, and I think it will provide loads of fun to the kiddos who play with it. It comes with two rechargeable batteries for the remote-controlled truck ... with lights and music and you'll need to provide two AA batteries for the controller. While the excavator isn't remote controlled, the cab does rotate and the arm does move and contributes to the overall experience. (Note to Mfg: if the excavator was also remote-controlled, this would be an upgrade, and a big PLUS).
