Viewed in that light, it may be well worth the price, so I might now need to get some more, as I am usually stumped for present ideas in the run up to Christmas (the use by date of the tube I sampled was Apr ’25). As the advertising blurb on Amazon says, “Royal jelly is produced by worker bees in the hive and provides exclusive nourishment for the queen bee”, so it would be more fitting that the next tube be consumed by my wife, rather than me. £9.99 is a bargain against the price that other sellers of Royal Jelly are charging.The individual capsules of Diana Royal Jelly are rather large to swallow & have no particular smell or taste. However, I had no trouble swallowing them. Many health benefits are claimed for Royal Jelly & I am not in a position to verify all of them, but I am feeling more alert & invigorated at present; I cannot be certain that taking Royal jelly is the cause. The tube is almost empty & I shall not immediately get any more for myself. It may be that effects take longer to come to full fruition. If I notice any further effects I will edit this review with an update. I’m no longer a spring chicken & anything which helps to regain youthful vigour is welcome, as long as the cost is reasonable. I cycled 700 miles in 7 days at age 70 (Channel to the Med, £8K raised for charities) & am planning to cycle the Danube Cycle Path (maybe 760 miles, probably skipping the last section approaching the Black Sea, to avoid the current war hazards) in future … perhaps at a slower pace!

The product I received has a production/manufacturing date of almost 2 years ago! For the price, I expected 'fresh' to mean fresh. I also question how fresh it is considering the label says keep refrigerated at all times, yet the shipping method is not temperature controlled at all, and presumably neither is the warehouse it was stored in for almost 2 years.
