They are just as good as the expensive ones except they are much cheaper. Writes smooth, dark ink, perfect tips, and different thicknesses. Great pack of pens for a great price. Very happy with them.

These are an excellent set of pens. The size difference are wonderful for different details, they're smooth in lines and can pick up fairly easily if you need to stop mid-line stroke.

I ordered these to use in my Hobonichi Cousin planner. I needed something very fine-point to write in the small grids, and these write even finer than the name-brand Micron pens of the same size (.25 mm or 01). My only issue is that they dry out FAST. You need to put the lid on AS SOON as you are done using that color (I mean IMMEDIATELY). If you leave them un-capped and are not writing with them for even a minute, they will dry out. Not entirely, though. I have so far been able to re-wet them to usability again by scribbling for a bit, shaking them toward the tip, tapping the tip on my tongue, or a combination of the three.

I love the variety of thickness this comes with. Great for fine details and outlining my projects. Did not bleed through. I bought the all black set, so no color variety, but I knew I was purchasing all black. Pens write/draw so smoothly.

excellent anchor pens to use prior to using alcohol markers. Dries almost instantly does well on bristle board and Vallen along with also watercolor paper. Alcohol marker can really go heavy over these and will not allow a snag or drag of the black line work to move across your image and ruin it. I've used these pens and illustrations for years and they've always done very well.

These 12 black art pens are extremely good for drawing, I use them all the time for my drawing and I've bought 2 packs of these exact same pens because I loved them so much the first time,I bought another pack. These pens are all different thicknesses with one being a paint pen as the thickest and the first ones being fineliners, which the tips of the pens are more fragile, so you use more delicately but are great for drawing, not recommended to colour, they're mainly to be used as drawing pens, but you can also write extremely well with them because they're bold black, which is the perfect colour for writing. The thinner pens of the pack, mainly the first 4, don't show up as much but still work perfectly. The order of thickness goes from left to right. They don't smudge or leak, which is perfect for drawing. They are really good for their price because they're so perfect for drawing and I use them all the time. If you love drawing or writing and drawing with pens these pens are definetley for you. They're really sturdy and don't bend, which is precisely what you need for drawing art pens.

These are fake rip offs. Not waterproof. Ruined my drawing.
